GRIZ at eastern Gameday thread

Say what you will, but EWU was the better team tonight.

No EWU had a much, much, better QB. With a really good QB, we win by a couple of scores. Cam is a fighter but he plays not to lose. He is not a QB that frightens defenses.

Maybe the GRIZ coaches should follow eastern!s coaches around when they recruit QBs

i was unable to see the game, but when i opened egriz and saw this thread was 40+ pages, i figured the griz probably lost, which always results in bitching about this or that player, coach, etc... i gotta say, some of you are unreal. the griz played a relatively late game (8:30 pm, Montana time), on the road, against a great offense, didn't have their best game offensively, and still had a shot to win it at the end. sounds like they played hard, and ewu had a very short (like 6 minutes) period where they caught fire, and it was enough for them to win. it happens. calm down. it is a long season.

Yes, they were last nite! That doesn’t mean they are the better team. Hopefully, the two teams will play again this year.

That's my hope. And it seems like the team that loses in the regular season, ends up beating the other team in the playoffs if they meet. That is the only positive to me.

life intruded. first game i haven't watched in a long time. i'll watch the replay - the ncaa has the second half stream on youtube, hopefully i'll be able to find the first half somewhere. it shows up on espn replays, but the when i hit 'play' all i get are the team's logos.

First down efficiency just horrible. The long FG attempt made little sense.

ESPN+ doesn't include the ESPN family of TV channels. You only get those with a cable provider. So any Griz games not on an ESPN channel for the rest of the year will be on ESPN*

No o line is going to protect their qb for as long as they want... you get about 2-10 seconds and if your qb can't do that, he shouldn't be a starting qb. When you have little time, that's when you hit them with slants and screens and motions to confuse the defense. Our offense is vanilla as shit. Made no adjustments either.
