Gregorak & Rosey

The O & D & ST coaches got their butts handed to them today. Where the hell do they come up with their calls? We're in trouble...

From time to time in athletic competition, a team gets beat. Northern Arizona rolled over us today....give them credit.

My two seats were empty at the start of the 3rd quarter. I wasn't at the tailgates. The line at Big Dipper ice cream was super long and my 5 year old really wanted some ice cream. I'll take responsibility for the loss.

Lots of reasons why we lost today- Play calling & non-adjustments at the top of the list. In no way am I blaming the empty seats after half time for the loss, however.......If any of you think it's not a factor, you're morons. We have an unbelievable home field advantage....when fans are in the stadium that is. How many times do we pound our chest on how loud our stadium is (& cold!!), it IS a huge advantage. The fact that the stadium is nearly empty & quiet after halftime takes away that advantage, period. If you say that it's not a factor, then NEVER let me hear you say anything about our home field advantage (false starts, delay of game, blah blah blah). Keep drinking your shitty beer & eating your crappy hot dogs while the team you are "rooting" for is in a nearly empty stadium getting two quick scores crammed down their throat within the 1st few minutes of the 2nd half. While you're expanding your waistlines, the opposing team is scoring in the "silent" noisiest part of the stadium. The true bandwagon fans are you all. You never see this in any other great home field venue in the nation....morons.

It is quite enjoyable that the people that a) don't go to any games and B) don't provide an support to the football program other than this board, can decide that the 25,000+ peoples that do more than signed up for a message board are to blame. 'Tip,I have supported you in the past, but i think you have grown old an bitter, maybe stale.

I understand being frustrated, even disenchantment. But destroy tradition for your reference on television? Perhaps we should start banning idiocracry.

Too funny that people want to point fingers at the drunk fans that are slow to get back into the stadium after half as a factor in the Griz loss.
My fingers are pointed at McKinney, Nguyen, and Tully...................

You're right.. the fans definitely gave up two touchdowns today. Definitely not the defense's fault. Definitely not the lack of preparation. The shitty fans are to blame.

David2, we need a ruling here.

I remember when everyone used to tailgate but they watched the time and were sure as hell gonna be back in the stadium for the second half to kickoff. Why has that changed?

How about the o-line getting beat at the line of scrimmage in the second half...have to watch the game on again on dvr, maybe the play calling was too predictable?

Hey titless-did I say it was the crowds fault? Nope. I did say, however, that it's a factor. & if you can't realize that, then you sir, are one of the morons. No need for me to guess where you were until the 3rd quarter was almost over.

Go back and re-read my post earlier in this thread, then STFU.

BTW, I got held up at the ticket gate.. but was back in my seat at 14:00. Thx for playing though.

Not trying to blame it on the 'shitty fans' so stop taking everything said to the extreme. Put yourself in the players shoes for once and think about how loud and awesome it was in the first half then running out to basically a timid high school crowd in the second half. Yes the players should have the mental fortitude to play through it, but damn that's gotta be a bit of a momentum killer mentally.

I would think the momentum killer would be having an opposing running back run it down my throat for 8+ yards a carry on my home turf..

Why doesn't this crowd phenomenon affect players at Eastern Washington or Idaho State or Southern Utah?

I wonder how many empty seats there are at Baton Rouge, Madison, Columbus, Tuscaloosa, Eugene, Norman, Gainesville, Austin, or any other great home venue around the nation. Sure, there may be a few, but THREE QUARTERS OF THE STADIUM? You've got to be kidding me. Good for you that you made it back in, that's great. Why are you so dense to not recognize that it plays a roll? Playing football is difficult when you can't hear the guy next to you, a lot simpler when you have no problem hearing at all. Why defend the bandwagon tailgaters? Is your husband part of the crowd? Tailgating is a pregame event, once the game starts....it's football. Btw-awful coaching & awful decisions in my opinion were the reasons we lost today. KMAYFM!

Maybe cuz they haven't built up programs that are known for a rowdy, hostile environment for allowing teams? How long have people been talking about the crowd noise at WaGriz? This game aside why is it so hard to be there for all 4 quarters to support our team? Just my opinion I guess.

Anyways, did we just run out of playbook? It felt like the same 3 plays over and over in the second half...

I feel there is a change in the stands, In my section in the NEZ there has been a major turn over in people. In seven years, I have never seen so many people not yell, never stand up (except for the Pledge and to leave). For the first time I was asked today to be quiet. The Game has been taken a back seat to the social event outside the stadium. That Electric feel just hasn't been there this year.

- Shit their pants today.

- Gregorak has been the most hyped coordinator in Griz history. FAIL

- Rosey has been anointed our next head-coach before we even played a game. FAIL

- We have a LONG way to go in terms of play-calling and scheme on both sides of the ball.

- TMac and Dan Moore take care of the ball.

- Bo Tully is awful.

good night.

Numbnuts , the coaches don't fumble, sleep tight don't let the bedbugs bite and get a life tomorrow.

I fail to understand the Killer Instinct comment. The Griz turning the ball over 5 times, and pretty much on 4 consecutive drives to end the 2nd and start the 3rd quarter, had way more to do with things than thinking that the Griz decided to shut down the offense in the second quarter.

Hammer meet nail
