Rb's will get more work in the second half we will see how it goes. 26-0 at half time against anyone is pretty good.

I’m also going to say this….Johnson is crazy athletic. He isn’t a consistent passer. If he has to run so much, he may not last the season….just like Griz fans seem to rib cat fans about TM.

Here we disagree. I think Johnson is pretty accurate and careful with the football. I like what I’ve seen from him today

He looks solid and takes care of the football. The dude only lost 1 as the starter at SDSU last season. I also like that he doesn’t stare down receivers and actually goes through his progressions

He looks solid and takes care of the football. The dude only lost 1 as the starter at SDSU last season. I also like that he doesn’t stare down receivers and actually goes through his progressions

Cripes! What do people want? He's 12/19 on passes (over 63%), for 141 yards (over 10 yards per completion) and 3 TDs. With his running, he's put up over 200 yards of offense ... and we're not even through the 3rd quarter. Sure, the competition is weak, but those are pretty impressive stats.

We’ll see how they use TM this season, but what we’ve seen from Johnson today is nothing like how TM was running in the playoffs last year. For the most part Johnson has been taking the opportunity to run in wide open space, which he looks great doing.
