Reminds me of First year Snead.

Yeah. He’s a gamer. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little sad we only have him one year. I would give a testy to get a four year QB like Cal Poly just landed in Jaden Jones

Time to pull an msu and blindly offer any qb that Baldwin offers.

Watch carefully. This is the second string Oline that’s in. Pass and run blocking so far look really, really rough for the second string

Dang, who is Nick Williams? I haven’t been paying much attention to the freshmen. Long and tall with a couple nice catches so far! 👍

So it’s good to see our back up quarterback who’s a freshman, completing passes downfield. That’s pretty exciting.

Two star redshirt freshman from Oceanside California in his second season with the Griz! Was one of our better recruits last year!

Seeing the young guys is my favorite part of these bodybag games!

I feel like I accomplished something today. :-D

I appreciate your effort but if it seriously took you messaging them for them to know there was an issue, there’s some serious house cleaning that needs to be done at SWX.

Honestly, I could see this happening: SWX start streaming and asks ESPN is it okay. ESPN sees the pregame video without sound because no one is talking and says yes. Thus, SWX thinks everything is great and starts to concern themselves with the actual broadcast. ESPN never follows up because they have hundreds of events streaming at the same time (picture one or two people sitting in front of 100 monitors--they don't have sound on). So, it takes one of us to let them know if something is wrong. I contacted SWX Montana through Facebook. The sound came on seconds later and they sent out a tweet too.

Edit: I bet it doesn't happen again. And, they could always pay me to make it work. :-D

I’m also going to say this….Johnson is crazy athletic. He isn’t a consistent passer. If he has to run so much, he may not last the season….just like Griz fans seem to rib cat fans about TM.
We’ll see how they use TM this season, but what we’ve seen from Johnson today is nothing like how TM was running in the playoffs last year. For the most part Johnson has been taking the opportunity to run in wide open space, which he looks great doing.

This is true. And I think he ended up solid. It was first game with new club. As long as they have smart runs, he’s in good shape. Defense was average…

Johnson isn’t horribly accurate
He's fairly accurate, and playing a really good game. Enjoy it!
What exactly, would you consider "adequate" accuracy. Most people consider anything over a 60% completion record as pretty good. Johnson was 15 of 24 (62.5%) for over 200 yards and 4 touchdown. A damn good days work.

As for the D ... Wow! Got the shutout and held NW State to just 36 yards rushing. That's just crazy!

Johnson did pretty well 208 pass yards 76 rush yards according to espn. However, against a team like this, I feel like a qb should put 300+ passing yards up. He's definitely light years better than Humphrey was. He does remind me of Sneed. I just want another qb like JJ tho. I want to see a game where our qb gets 300-400 passing yards, especially against crappy teams.
