GAME DAY THREAD - IDAHO

Makes the NAU debacle an even bigger head scratcher.

Makes me wonder if some guys were sick or something. Every I know in Missoula has had the ‘Rona in the past few weeks - no one terribly sick but just low energy. At that elevation it would be tough. That game was so bad I can’t explain it any other way.

It was so bad it was surreal. Saw things I’ve NEVER seen and I’ve watched almost every Griz game the past 30+ years…

I trigger my dogs every Griz game sending them into barking spasms....

One moment I'm happy. The next I'm pissed, only to end up happy again. Every mood swing I start cheering or yelling at the TV and the dogs just start barking on queue.

oh well....

Thought the defensive player of the game was Riley Wilson, he was causing havoc all over.

Even when he didn’t get to the qb he was blowing up the line of scrimmage all game

Just a sophomore and making noise

By the way, did everyone notice that Idaho State came from behind and beat EWU? 42-41

Glad we could stop the "other" spud team from doing the same...

Bradford did a nice job game planning and putting pressure on a very elusive QB all night long.

McCoy had 9 lives, I swear. Soooo many times I thought they had him and he squirmed away to make a big play. Reminded me of a couple EWU QBs (Adams, Barriere come to mind).

Yes, AND The refs helped by not calling holding.

Griz had him dead to rights so many times… then **poof!** he vanished and completes one 20 yards downfield…

The team play/playcalling/effort/intensity/physicality in the first half was best in years. Second half regressed some but the effort level was still there I thought just tired defensive rush having trouble containing the QB and the amount of time the secondary had to cover while he was running around was no doubt why some guys found open holes, They didn't get sucked into Idaho's cheap/trash crap and kept their heads.

Yeah one thing I hate, is that when Bobby and company get a decent lead they go immediately to play conservative and try to work the clock, even tho we end up going 3 and out most the time when they do it and takes less clock off. Foot should always be on the gas pedal, always.
Playing to not lose, not playing to win is in his DNA. Every series starts with a run up the gut for 1 yard.
