GAME DAY THREAD - IDAHO

I like first half Griz. I don’t like ultra conservative, play-not-to-lose Griz.

I do like the go for it on 4th and 2. It was a 50 yard kick indoors, which we would have probably made. But I didn’t want to punt. I just think you gotta have some wrinkle play to get two yards.
 
The team play/playcalling/effort/intensity/physicality in the first half was best in years. Second half regressed some but the effort level was still there I thought just tired defensive rush having trouble containing the QB and the amount of time the secondary had to cover while he was running around was no doubt why some guys found open holes, They didn't get sucked into Idaho's cheap/trash crap and kept their heads.

Yeah one thing I hate, is that when Bobby and company get a decent lead they go immediately to play conservative and try to work the clock, even tho we end up going 3 and out most the time when they do it and takes less clock off. Foot should always be on the gas pedal, always.

Nau is hit or miss. They lost to Sac St by 1 point, beat Weber and us but, lose to PSU, got rolled by Utah Tech. It's like they field 2 different teams, just depends on the weekend I guess. 😂 NAU has mass potential and it's being shit away.

Makes me wonder if some guys were sick or something. Every I know in Missoula has had the ‘Rona in the past few weeks - no one terribly sick but just low energy. At that elevation it would be tough. That game was so bad I can’t explain it any other way.
 
I have to work tomorrow tending the ranch. Feeding the animals and finishing the trenching for water to the orchard.

I'll sleep well knowing the Griz won. The win was unexpected. Feels good.
