Future QB

An offense that can only manage a big 6 yards rushing isn't an offense, it's a loss waiting to happen.
6 yards on the ground and 6 lousy points. This offense is not as special as some of you seem to think.

So lots of beating up of 75, but why would it have hurt to go with Simis for a few series today? Brady did struggle some against teams that had a solid D game plan, and the O didn't make good adjustments which falls back on the coaching staff. Does that fit your agenda?

this isn''t just about today....and Simis has more trouble figuring out defenses than Gus....

I coach high school athletes, and I know 99 percent of the time, they absolute HATE when parents, relatives, do this kind of thing.
I coach college athletes. They HATE it too.

Bottom line is that none of the QB's are that good. I think it hilarious in previous posts where some think Brady will be on the Payton watch list at the beginning of next year. Good grief!

nailed it...

This offense is predictable. It was a feeding frenzy to ndsu's defense. Sad part is it's still rebuilding as will be the defense with the seniors we lose.

We all saw the offense Stitt was bringing to the Griz back in the spring and it' s clearly not one an immobile BG can run.Deal with it!

NDSU was able to stuff the Griz running game with only 5 guys in the box....Griz will never win without a better effort by the OL....

Who wants to bet me $100 tonight that Brady is the starting QB next fall, unless, of course, he gets hurt?

I think 75 might be your only taker....there are several more hoping he isn't....

Without an offensive line that can block four down linemen which means no running game it won't matter who the quarterback is.

Finally - someone points out the obvious flaw. No DOLA and the athletes needed for the O line just are not in place yet. Going to take some time.
This is not the only problem with the UM running game. No really good RB, no H-back or tight ends; this offense is not set up for running. It's not going against RMAC defenses.

Understand that you are calling out 75 for his "facts" and predictions, but he isn't too far off from calling it correctly. Simis might have troubles figuring out Ds, but he can run/scramble which would have been more than Gus brought to the table the last 6 quarters of play.

it is pretty easy....5 in the box you run....6 in the box you throw....if you need a TE and H-back to run on 5 guys...you are already in trouble....

Great, we get to listen to this loser for weeks about how Simis should've always been the guy at QB.

Hurray.
No, four interceptions, under "perfect" conditions speak for themselves to anyone that can hear.
He missed the Simis performance at PSU.

you want to make it seem like Simis is this balanced dual threat QB....he's not...the only thing he has going for him is his legs...every game after the UND game demonstrated this....and it didn't work very well....

Maybe true but it's only because he's the best we have in Stitt's offense. He wouldn't start for most teams. Just sayin ;)

I'll bet you that same 100.00 that we won't win the conference next year with Brady at the wheel.

I also want to know that with your statistical comparison that anointed SImis the better QB, did you have a component that took into account what the opposing defenses did in each game?
As I repeatedly asked on the other threads, "OK, what?" and to which you invariably went silent. This idea "Yeah but ..." gets old when that's all there is. The fact is, everything I pointed to three weeks ago came true today, right down to the specific words, "overthrow," "miscommunication," and "interception/fumble." Sad to say. But it was out there and evident to those who looked, and for those who had their minds made up, reality bit hard today.
You were pretty quiet after the EWU, MSU and SDSU games.

I already assumed that as a given....especially with all the questions on defense also...

He already said that the EWU and MSU games didn't count since they have no defense.....
