Certainly what money I have must have come on a silver platter and I was probably born with a silver spoon in my mouth. It has nothing to do with 20 years of school and 40 years of work none of which was easy. I have no apology for my inferior level of sympathy relative to yours for those who had other priorities.

Didn't realize I talked about it so much, actually I was only able to make it to two games this year. I should be wary of such disclosures from now on.

Pardon me, but aren't you guys making the same point? One dude got mad that people were talking about their extravagant "vacations" to suburban DFW. Another said he doesn't think such trips make them braggarts because they probably somehow earned the ability to take said trips, and the fact that others might not doesn't make talking about said trips tacky. You then say you aren't sorry that you've earned everything in life and don't apologize for your lack of sympathy for people who had other priorities.

Seems like the same point to me, but I'm not the sharpest drawer in the shed.

You are a drawer in a shed?

A very dim-witted one.

Maybe for those with disposable incomes and plenty of time off/retired, but I don’t think that would be feasible for the majority.

Exactly, Wolf. WARNING: For those with thin skins and fragile egos, read no farther.

I read these posts about extended stays, other entertainment, yada, yada, yada, and just laugh. I'm glad you have the money to throw around doing this, that, and whatever, and you are aghast that the airlines go up 500-600%, not to mention lodging, etc. And you still buy 4+ seats, at scalper prices.
You are absolutely clueless to your average Griz fan living here in 'flyover country.' I speak about those season ticket, and one time attendees holders who scrimp and save and budget to be able to come to Missoula to attend even ONE game a year.
If your concerns are the ease of getting a beer at your over-priced remote location, which cost several thousands of dollars for you to plop you fat ass in, then you are entitled, spoiled, narcissistic assh*les gloating about your extravagant, decadent forays. You are more concerned with what yuppie bars/restaurants to attend, so to be seen(scene?)and be seen there.
I tried to be all inclusive here, so if I left off some things or someone, I apologize. I'm sure you all earned your wealth and can do what you want to do with it, but to tout it on this site is over the top. Perhaps confine your braggaocious
statements to eGriz Club. Flame away! :fuel:

I dont care about your opinion in any way.

One of the guys I was traveling with rented an Aston Martin DBX707 as a rental car for 5 days and thats what we drove around in. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and we all went to the Avalanche Stars game and the Michigan Washington game. Deal with it

Exactly CDA. It's almost comical at this point. I don't think Kem even reads my posts. He just sees "cats" in my name, blacks out a little, and types some gibberish real quick.

Seems like he and I are on the same page. I don't think people talking about flying to Frisco for a few days are egotistical blowhards. They have money to do so. Some have even more money and can travel even farther away and for longer amounts of time and I don't think their clueless braggarts either. And there's even people with way less money jealous of you and I for the things we've acquired and I don't consider myself an egomaniac either.

Weird how that works..... :o

I have been loosely following the discussion and don’t know what anyone is saying.

Everything I post is intended to be bragging. Even when I’m correcting my mistakes.

I had a great omelette at Main Street Over Easy yesterday. That’s clearly bragging.

Think you got the gist of my opinion hoops. I didn't expect to ruffle Kems feathers. ;)

Hoops, I was bragging, about someone else having more money than I do. :thumb:

The suv rental was more than I take home in 2 weeks.

Everything I buy, even a coffee, is more than I take home in 2 weeks. We had gone to Phoenix for the winter before the playoffs. I flew back to Missoula for each playoff game and took the family to Frisco. I got used to the 6:40am from Phoenix to SLC to MSO. We had rented our Missoula place for the winter, so had to get a hotel in downtown Missoula. That was fun. We could have purchased a nice used SUV with what we spent. I've told the kids that if/when we run out of money, we expect them to start picking up our tab.
