Its called being realistic AZ

No it's not. It's consistently negative. Saying you're "realistic" is like Bernie Sanders trying to say he's a "centrist". Just doesn't fly.

Spin it any way you want ,by the way what color is the sky in your land of fairies, leprechauns and rainbows . Lucky charms are loaded with sugar by the way

Love me some Lucky Charms. Don't you start bad mouthing Lucky Charms, you bastard!

Lolol

It is a mods thread and he probably won't even come back on here cause his vagina hurts .
Pouting as usual. Either that or he is at the dentist from getting his cavities fixed from to much sugar

Bobby Hauck WAS a great coach for UM but...

Bobby Hauck hasn't done crap since he left UM, and I really don't see why there is so much drooling over the guy. Again his teams at UNLV SUCKED!!! and they gave him 5 years to fix it. Some of the posters on here started trying to throw Stitt out even before the Griz played a game, and their posts have only got worse. You can "Sugar coat" Haucks UNLV record all you want, but facts are facts. There is no proof that if he came back, UM would start winning 10 games a season.

As far as Stitt, I have been very clear that it takes some time to implement his type of football (just like almost every other coach). To throw him out after this year would do nothing but cause a new coach more time to implement his type of football. That would be "moronic"

Now at the end of next year... he's probably had enough time.

Since Bobby wants to come here and retire, maybe Stitt could hire him for special teams and DC. This way we get an offense, fantastic special teams and great defense. Stitt needs to send Semore packing no matter what happens if Stitt is retained....

OK payton, your a mod ,go back and read all my post where the hell did I ever say anything about Hauck and UNLV smarty pants .
All I am saying is Stitt is an average coach , I personally belive he will never have a better record than what he has, "average at best" that's all he is and ever will be .
Now go back and read my posts about ," you hire someone to do a job ,he better know how to do it "
Or in my book your gone . In 3 years he has had damn near anything at his disposal to get the job done and he hasn't. Plain and simple in my opinion. Also don't insult what intelligence I have (not much btw) and rattle off more excuses for him

4 hours later ( sponge bob reference there)

That’s your opinion and that’s cool. I just disagree that he should be run out of town. You may not have said the Hauck stuff but there is many on this board that think he will save the program. And I would rather wait until the end of 2018 to have the Griz make that decision.

I understand all the angst, because of the past Griz performance but many fcs programs would enjoy a 19-13 record. I guess Griz fans are just spoiled.

I could be wrong, but really believe that the next three games and next year will be special, but then again I have never been a chicken little. (Not saying you are). Just my personality

DII vs. FBS. Real good comparison.
1) Hauck lost to DII version of NDSU in Wa-Griz. Stitt beat FCS verison of NDSU in Wa-Griz.
2) Before Stitt left CO Mines for MT, he lost a tough game to his conference foe CSU-Pueblo 12-20. Eventual FCS semifinalist Sam Houston State lost to CSU-Pueblo 21-47 the same year. Not sure there is this huge discrepancy between DII and FCS that you make it out to be. I don't think it's like the jump between the Big Sky and the Pac 12. You might not like the reality, but Big Sky may be closer to RMAC than Pac 12. Anyway, I think enough people who know more about football than me and you put together have had good things to say about Stitt's coaching abilities. I'm not averse to making him hire new D and ST coordinators in the offseason, though...
Stitt played the FCS version of NDSU again that year; how did that go? How would it go today, well into third year?

Improve your reading skills; I pointed out the discrepancy between DII and FBS, which you tried to compare.

Football is football. The FCS NDSU team that Montana beat had beaten several FBS schools in that span of time. When Stitt's offense is clicking, and with some additional recruiting on D, I'd love another crack at NDSU, especially in Wa-Griz. Where Bobby lost to them when they were DII...
Dream on; when the toughest team we can beat is ISU.

THIS IS MONTANA FOOTBALL, PEOPLE.

SHIT LATELY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

MONTANA is NOT your average FCS program.

Get your heads straight. Program deserves better.

If you are happy with a 19-13 record, with us having the premier facilities, best game-day experience, and largest national fan base in all of FCS football, then you have revealed yourself as a Bobcat fan in disguise.. 8-)

Did not say I was happy with it... just said there are many places that would be very happy to be so “bad”

For the 2nd year In the last three we're down to our 3rd string QB. The fact we're winning at all is a fucking miracle.

Have you even considered the fact that the reason our QBs are getting injured is because we pass the ball 50+ times a game and they are eating turf twice as often as teams with balanced attacks?

How imbalanced are we? Would be interesting to see. Have you already seen the total plays divided out between runa and pass?

Here is what I found on ESPN. Pass-Run: 48-41 wsu, 38-39 und, 35-39 isu, 38-48 psu, 51-45 ewu, 35-34 Savannah, 31-33 UW, 41-35 Valpo. For totals of- 317-314. Pretty balanced.

Thanks. It was interesting to see other teams threw the ball more than us. EWU threw 65 times to our 51. Understandably they were behind early but caught up early 2nd half. Still threw 14 more balls than we did. Stitt focused recruiting on receivers early on and I think that leads people to believe we are a pass heavy team but we really arent. We are about as balanced as possible.
