I just read a PM about you from another poster, explaining why you are an ass. So my solution is just to ignore you and let you babble-on about your self-importance. There are lots of great posters on here who don't provide chin music like you do.

Just read 2 PM's about you. Said you didn't follow Griz football closely, don't know much about the game, and are a cry baby.

Bobby Hauck WAS a great coach for UM but...

Bobby Hauck hasn't done crap since he left UM, and I really don't see why there is so much drooling over the guy. Again his teams at UNLV SUCKED!!! and they gave him 5 years to fix it. Some of the posters on here started trying to throw Stitt out even before the Griz played a game, and their posts have only got worse. You can "Sugar coat" Haucks UNLV record all you want, but facts are facts. There is no proof that if he came back, UM would start winning 10 games a season.

As far as Stitt, I have been very clear that it takes some time to implement his type of football (just like almost every other coach). To throw him out after this year would do nothing but cause a new coach more time to implement his type of football. That would be "moronic"

Now at the end of next year... he's probably had enough time.

Since Bobby wants to come here and retire, maybe Stitt could hire him for special teams and DC. This way we get an offense, fantastic special teams and great defense. Stitt needs to send Semore packing no matter what happens if Stitt is retained....

But Stitt did turn around a perennial doormat. Why couldn't Bobby?

DII vs. FBS. Real good comparison.

1) Hauck lost to DII version of NDSU in Wa-Griz. Stitt beat FCS verison of NDSU in Wa-Griz.
2) Before Stitt left CO Mines for MT, he lost a tough game to his conference foe CSU-Pueblo 12-20. Eventual FCS semifinalist Sam Houston State lost to CSU-Pueblo 21-47 the same year. Not sure there is this huge discrepancy between DII and FCS that you make it out to be. I don't think it's like the jump between the Big Sky and the Pac 12. You might not like the reality, but Big Sky may be closer to RMAC than Pac 12. Anyway, I think enough people who know more about football than me and you put together have had good things to say about Stitt's coaching abilities. I'm not averse to making him hire new D and ST coordinators in the offseason, though...

Stitt played the FCS version of NDSU again that year; how did that go? How would it go today, well into third year?

It wasn't worth talking about, but since you brought it back up. Is he the head coach? No he is the Special Teams Coordinator.

So you want to give him credit when he is not the head guy... And excuse his record at UNLV when he was the head coach.

And yes ALL of the Mountain West is third rate when it comes to the FBS. Not fair but that's how the FBS is run.

OK payton, your a mod ,go back and read all my post where the hell did I ever say anything about Hauck and UNLV smarty pants .
All I am saying is Stitt is an average coach , I personally belive he will never have a better record than what he has, "average at best" that's all he is and ever will be .
Now go back and read my posts about ," you hire someone to do a job ,he better know how to do it "
Or in my book your gone . In 3 years he has had damn near anything at his disposal to get the job done and he hasn't. Plain and simple in my opinion. Also don't insult what intelligence I have (not much btw) and rattle off more excuses for him

I'm sure Bobby reads Egriz and laughs himself silly at the crap posted here about what he wants/might want/doesn't want/might not want/will always want/will never want..... Next we will hear he will come back to Missoula but only if Stitt stays on as OC and Ty returns as DC. With the best facilities in the FCS we have plenty of room for those 3 egos under one roof.

Football is football. The FCS NDSU team that Montana beat had beaten several FBS schools in that span of time. When Stitt's offense is clicking, and with some additional recruiting on D, I'd love another crack at NDSU, especially in Wa-Griz. Where Bobby lost to them when they were DII...
