I thought the snap on the poorly held extra point turned failed 2 point attempt in Bozeman was a little high. Davis might have been able to still get it down if he wasn’t injured but the snap is supposed to come in at the chest level of the holder and the snap on that one came in at his head level.
Brint is a great observer. He gets alot of good info. He is good friends with several of the coaches. In QB Club. Knows some parents. A never-played-the-gamer is someone who shows he never played the game with his (dumb) posts, in my parlance. Brint does not make dumb posts. Many people never played the game, but they don't show it or act like it in what they say or post. Is that hard for you to understand?
I agree with Hoops. No quarterback for Montana should receive an A when they can’t beat the cats and the defense led the country in giving up big plays and should receive an F. The offensive line grade needs to be an incomplete unless you’ve attached the number of negative plays that happened on their watch. Coaches would get an F.

Punting wasn’t really relied upon to flip the field as much in years past due to the offense converting and moving the ball much more efficiently than in the past several years.

You are probably correct about Davis correctly fielding it. It wasn’t horrible by any means but I think it could be considered off target depending on what your parameters are. Long snappers are often unfairly expected to be perfect even though perfection is not possible. Pibal was pretty close that one in Bozeman is the only one I remember being off at all and like you said Davis probably would have still fielded it.
It was barely high, basically at his facemask dead center. He didn't have to change his position or reach at all. That's a perfectly good snap. Brooks would've gotten it down just fine.
We had no returning starters on defense and we were still second in the Big Sky in overall defense running a complex scheme and Ah Yat progressed to being the only 4,000 yard passer in the nation this season from splitting time with Fife last season and you want to give our coaching staff an F? Our overall offense was first in the Big Sky and 4th nationally. How is coaching the 1/12 Big Sky offense and 2/12 Big Sky defense to a 13-2 record and the semifinals an F? You do realize 13-2 is a lot closer to 16-0 than 0-12?
