A win at home against Ferris would make me happy. It is meaningless in the big scheme of things...as it counts for nothing wrt to playoffs or seeds.

A loss however...is a kick in the balls to everyone - fans, players, coaches, the athletic department.

Listen, Eyeore, if you don't know the meaning of words like "whining" you shouldn't use them. Nobody whines more about any subject than you do about Bobby Hauck. Pointing out how boring your 1 trick pony has become is not whining. But I get it, you're an AG1 wannabe, and like Dan Quayle, you are no AG1.

While I don't think it will happen, as I predict a 10-14 point victory for the Griz, but if we lose to Ferris, it should be the final nail in Hauck's coffin, and he should be replaced next season. No amount of Hoops and Kem's spin jobs can justify our once dominant FCS program losing to a Div. II team AT HOME, no matter how highly they are ranked pre-season.

Because of that fact, I think this is a MUST WIN game for Bobby to keep his job, just like the Cat game should be a MUST WIN game for him to keep his job. Even most of you apologists will jump on the bandwagon if either of these happen.

It would be completely impossible for a coach to lose to a Division II team and be a good coach. There is absolutely no chance that a coach could lost to a Division II national championship team, and then get their own team to the FCS national championship the next year or go on to be the winningest coach in Big Sky Conference history. Absolutely no way that coach could get out to a current record of 116-34. Oh. Wait.

You can't simplify this down to one game. If we lose both of those games, then yea, it is going to be a very hot seat for him. But to say that either is a must win? That's just not true. If we lost either of those games, but won every other game and a national championship, he would be treated as a hero.

You really need to stop spending every day stewing about Bobby Hauck. Its not good for your health, and it is kind of creepy. He's just a football coach, and the game against Ferris St. is just one game.

Bud, I'm the one that was telling you to relax. You rage post here every day. I just brought up that there is a trajectory, and that is what matters. I come here to talk football, and I'm more than happy if you disagree and want to chat. I am firmly in reality, and I'm the poster that completely admitted our trajectory turned downward for last year. I'm just saying that you can't over simplify to one game. I'm sure you would agree that if we lost to Ferris State and then won out and won the national championship, you would be happy, right? That would be a good season?

The "creepy" part I referred to is that you seem to have some very personal animosity for a football coach from your alma mater. You really seem to hate him. Did you go to school with him and he stole your girlfriend? Did he embarrass you at a party? You seem really worked up about him on a creepy personal level.

Lots of teams won't do that, especially after we upset Washington. It got harder to find opponents. Secondly, we don't want to take money to just go fly out to Columbus, get our players beat up, and come back with no momentum. That is a quick way to kill some mojo.

That is why we schedule home-and-home series with the teams that we do. Sometimes those just aren't available.

I feel like if Trump had won in 2020 we lose that game. With Biden stealing a fake vote victory the whole country was moving downhill. Traditional institutions like Pac-12 Football were being eroded by Pride flags and a lack of prayer in schools.
