I was one who was certain we had no chance. I was at the 63-7 beatdown a couple years earlier. To think those two teams moved in such dramatic opposite directions in just a few years is crazy.

I feel like if Trump had won in 2020 we lose that game. With Biden stealing a fake vote victory the whole country was moving downhill. Traditional institutions like Pac-12 Football were being eroded by Pride flags and a lack of prayer in schools.

It shouldn't be that hard to schedule pure division one games, regardless of the opponent we should never be playing a D2 team. It does nothing to help us with the Playoffs and only invites unnecessary risk. This is a failure on the AD/whoever makes the schedules.

A good win on Ferris will help the Griz with the playoffs. Just wouldn't be counted as a D-I if the Griz were close to not having the minimum D-I wins to qualify.

D1 teams will not come to Missoula. Two factors; It's tough to get to, the airport's runway can accommodate a Sopwith Camel but not much more. More importantly, even though many of you think that the Griz have sunk to the level of Kalispell Glacier or God forbid, Montana State, WGS still has a reputation in the rest of the football world and no D1 team wants to come in here in September and end their bowl game aspirations with a loss. We make upwards of $1,000,000 for each home game and very few D1's are going to pay us that to go on the road. The answer to everything in sports is money!

Sorry, I should have written 1-A instead of D1 or FBS instead of D1. What I mean, and I thought this would be clear, teams from the big kids football division (A rose by any other name.)

Reminds of when I used to live in England, there was Division 1 and below it Division 2. Now there is the Premier League and the Championship. Strangely nobody is dying to leave the Premier in order to play for the Championship.
