You think the Griz were more physical under Stitt?
Honestly I think the Griz under Stitt had the same issues we still have today. They were physical against everyone except top tier competition where they just weren’t able to compete in the trenches. Prime example being NDSU in the playoffs.

NDSU doesn’t have a medical school. Ty Timmer went to UND. UND and UM have the same amount of FCS titles since 2002 with ZERO. Hoops is consistently out to lunch with his posts.
That makes way more sense……yes the Griz program is much more similar to UND than NDSU.

Dylan Cook was 6'6 and 260+ pounds in High School. Genetics matter.
That sounds like a natural offensive line build and a cheat code in high school if he can play a position like quarterback. Terrell Suggs was 6’3 235 pounds in high school. They played him at running back on offense because no one could tackle him at the high school level and he also played defensive end on defense.

Not even close. You have a blind spot for Stitt, and are a Stitt lover. That destroys your credibility with most, more than it already is.

Could spin it beautifully too. Unfortunately, broke his collarbone in the first half of the first game his senior year. Why he ended up at Northern. Had D1 talent at QB. Good feet on the hardwood.

I thought this was interesting. JJ Watt was on the Pat McAfee Show today. They were talking about these coaches taking these new head coaching jobs available right now. JJ stated your first two staff hires should be an offensive line coach and a weight and conditioning coach.
The Grizz already have them so it's not really relevant except they can't seem to keep an o line coach and Bobby's buddy is the strength and conditioning coach. The buddy coaching tree is possibly the most evidence in all of college football with the Griz. To address your statement it's simply done different in Montana.

The bubble may be a step down on the outside, but when you get inside of it, it truly is amazing, and exactly what a player wants/needs.
It looks like total shit from the outside and is an eyesore for the campus.

The optics of an inflatable, temporary building versus a brick and mortar are not good by virtue of comparison.

I know it serves a purposes, but I really wish the Athletic Department would’ve just waited rather than half ass it.

I get wanting to do it as quickly as possible, winter weather in Montana is rough. What is the plan and timeline for upgrading it to a permanent facility though?

I'm unaware of such a plan. The original design of this unit was to do all the foundation stuff that would enable a conversion a hard building in the future. Most of the cost in this unit in in the base. However, I believe that feature was one cut for cost. This unit will serve us well for many years.

The Fargo Dome is across the street from campus. NDSU doesn’t have the same game day experience as UM. It seems as though their fans have gotten apathetic and there is more demand from the Vikings and UND hockey than anything in Missoula. The vintage Fargo Dome when we played there in 2014 and 2015 was up there with WaGriz and a majority of group of 5 teams in terms of game day experience.
You played there?

I agree and they put it in the nicest spot on campus. But hey football brings in a lot of money for the university and Missoula. So we need it for what really? We are a D2 program aspiring for the next level which has a long way to get there.

I actually disagree with this. I think it’s much less of an eye sore than the overgrown 4H barn MSU built. Especially when it is bigger than their pos stadium that sits 20 feet away from it.

How do our facilities and resources stack up to NDSU and MSU? I am curious to see if this is an area where we could improve?

From research it sounds like NDSU is far and away built more like an FBS program with the facilities they have and how many quality control and analytic positions.

Is this something we need to invest into?

How does our Strength program match up with these teams? Do we have specialists? How does our nutrition compare? Recovery?

Curious to see if anyone close to the program or with knowledge can enlighten me.
NDSU has been able to invest in FBS like facilities largely because they rent their stadium.
I think that arrangement is the reason for their success. They were able to allocate stadium funds into other areas including recruiting, coaching, indoor facilities etc.
