I looked at every Big Sky team's schedule since 2000. It was time-consuming building the spreadsheet to keep proper track of it all, but to dispel the "Griz Hangover" effect I think it was worth the time.

shouldn't the BSC overall winning percentage be 50%? Every conference game has one winner and one loser, overall aggregate percentage should be 50%

This is overall records for those teams and the teams don't always play conference opponents following the game against the Griz.

In the case of UNC, SUU, and Cal Poly, they were not part of the Big Sky when they first played the Griz. To be conclusive, I gathered data from all of the teams who are in, or have been in the Big Sky since 2000. UND and UNC were D2 for many of those years so their records are only included since they moved up to 1-AA.

Perhaps you should look at conference games only as doing so would eliminate some distortion from non conference games. It would also set the baseline at 50%.

I think gathering the data would be a major pain, thanks.
 
This has been the single worst season for fans of other teams posting the dumbest crap on this message board, and it's mainly came from about three Eastern Washington fans and three MSU fans. But it's been the worst I've ever seen bar none. Ironically, they're playing each other this week, and yet those select few fans from both teams are STILL HERE ON EGRIZ, talking junk to Griz fans. Just more proof that the Griz still, and will always be the most polarizing team in the Big Sky. If they weren't, if the Griz were soooooo irrelevant, like these idiots claim, if times had really changed in the Big Sky, like the morons claim, they wouldn't wouldn't be here talking s--t to Griz fans the day before a game between the Eags and Cats.

It is comical, and the best thing is after the game tomorrow the first thing they will do is come here and brag about it, instead of going to the losing team's board.

At least we'll be rid of half the idiots tomorrow.

The fact you think EWU and MSU fans are posting here this week because the griz are so relevant is not only ignorant, but pretentious, which is why people hate griz fans that post online. There's a 10 page thread on eGriz about two teams the Griz AREN'T facing this weekend. That is why we are here. Posts like yours only serve to solidify the ignorant, pretentious dickhole stereotype of eGrizzers, so congrats.

The thread was started for legitimate discussion of a game between two conference rivals and the usual Eagle and scat trolls turned it into a shit fest. Fact.
 
I think people come here because there is a lot of action on this forum. There are more people here discussing the conference than the other threads.

It's pretentious to think the world revolves around the Griz because other teams fans post here, given that this thread is about said teams. I have been talking about the game, until I responded to the smack directed towards EWU (and MSU). FACT.

However, I do think, and have for a long time thought that the Big Sky revolves around the Griz, and this thread is proof of that. You have no evidence to the contrary. Hell (and this isn't smack, it's just pointing something out), how many times has ESPN accidentally put the Grizzly logo next to Montana State's name on a highlight? the Answer: Many. Montana is STILL the heartbeat of the Big Sky Conference. It's not arrogant, it's the truth. And deep down, you KNOW IT.
 
SE is just a troll who only posts here to stir shit up. Nobody in the world is stupid enough to think that UM isn't pulling almost all of the weight in the BSC. Take away UM and MSU, and see what it does to conference revenue. The only reason EWU gets to play in something called the Big Sky is because of UM (and MSU to a lesser degree). And this is the thanks we get.
 
I'm pretty sure this thread was started because this is the most relevant game in the Big Sky this year to date and it has implications for the Griz.

I'm also pretty equally sure any thread drift came from one idiot who has a pair of crooked numbers in his name and should have been banned 2 weeks ago. There have been many posts from fans of both EWU and MSU with actual relevant info, but unfortunately one f***tard has derailed most of it.

The truth is that this thread exists because the BSC currently revolves around EWU and MSU.
