This has been the single worst season for fans of other teams posting the dumbest crap on this message board, and it's mainly came from about three Eastern Washington fans and three MSU fans. But it's been the worst I've ever seen bar none. Ironically, they're playing each other this week, and yet those select few fans from both teams are STILL HERE ON EGRIZ, talking junk to Griz fans. Just more proof that the Griz still, and will always be the most polarizing team in the Big Sky. If they weren't, if the Griz were soooooo irrelevant, like these idiots claim, if times had really changed in the Big Sky, like the morons claim, they wouldn't wouldn't be here talking s--t to Griz fans the day before a game between the Eags and Cats.

The fact you think EWU and MSU fans are posting here this week because the griz are so relevant is not only ignorant, but pretentious, which is why people hate griz fans that post online. There's a 10 page thread on eGriz about two teams the Griz AREN'T facing this weekend. That is why we are here. Exactly. UM and MSU have subsidized the rest of these commuter schools' athletic programs for so long that I think they tend to forget their place in the world from time to time.

If this is a real post, and you really don't understand the point, I will say this: There are Ws and Ls (in football) over the last few years, and then there are dollars. They are not the same. It would help you in the future not to confuse the two as you are at present.

Whatever you need to tell yourself, I guess. In terms of fanbase and revenue, yes UM is at the top. Popularity... perhaps if you count negative publicity. I'm pretty sure EWU's red turf, 2010 NC, and upset of OSU have generated a lot more publicity than UM has received in the last 3 years. Times have changed. Academically, I'd say that UC-Davis and UND lead the way. Culture? I'm not so sure the culture at UM, as depicted in a lot of negative press over the last two years or so is anything to be proud of. UM used to be the center of the Big Sky, but like I said, times have changed. This isn't the Big Sky of the early 2000s. Maybe you should take off the Maroon colored glasses and take a look around. :thumb:

So I guess we should all leave the BSC so the Griz are the only team left. That way you guys can always be the BSC champions, after all you guys are the only team that has ever earned anything in the BSC and when other teams do well it is only because the all mighty jizz have been so generous and merciful.
