VA is a little shitbag and hopefully gets his legs broken Theisman style in a game this year. His threats to UM athletes and fans and behavior up to and in the game yesterday says it all.

Yeah...this post is a complete joke.

I seriously doubt that JJ would run down field and lay a cheap shot blind side block on a defensive player 20 or more yards away from a play. How said that Tripp was our golden boy, I don't give a crap who Adams hit, the facts are the facts that it was a cheap dirty play, which EWU committed many of through-out the day on Saturday, 2 personal fouls for hitting guys in the back after plays were more than a few seconds over, and the hit to Bienneman was one of the dirtier plays that I have seen this season. But whatever, no EWU fans care about that, they just wanna say we are whining and bitching. Look at the facts!!

They won we didn't...get over it
If I were eastern I would pray they don't draw Montana based on our track record of meeting teams in the playoffs after a regular season loss...

Both are above average teams who will make noise in the postseason

VA made tripp his bitch with that block. Completely legal, completely hilarious. Get over it.
Just for Tokyo, I updated my avatar. ;)

That stuff is being cleaned up in-house, if you didn't notice.

The hit on 37 was unnecessary, albeit legal and impressive.

We don't need ewhoo troll #1 to remind most of us.

Also, I'm pretty sure we all know who would be the bitch one on one 99 out of 100, i.e. when they both see it coming...

I appreciate your kind words AllWeatherFan. If it's true the Eastern fans showed more class than Montana fans, and I'm not entirely certain it is, then that's high praise indeed. All of the Griz fans I encountered were the most gracious fans anyone could ask for.

Best of luck to you in the remainder of the regular season and in the postseason.

All the EWU fans I encountered -- mostly on the bus to and from the game -- were great fans of their team, and good fun to talk with.

Yes...delaney and co will have them figured out next time. If I was Baldwin I'd be very scared about matching wits and coming up with a game plan for the rematch!

Plus the national stats confirm that the Griz are better....anybody like jelly on their ewu toast!

Can the Griz win a rematch? Yes...but the staff better show some marked improvement if it's going to happen.

Targeting. No surprise from Shoota. Would be ejected in any major conference game.

Jesus H. Chr... Seriously? So players should only block when it's necessary? So if a player has a chance to lay a legal hit on someone, to let them know this is football, it's physical, and I'm going to knock you on your ass every chance I get... they probably shouldn't do it because it's not very nice? As far as I know the whistle hadn't blown yet. My high school coach would turn red faced and probably punch me in the throat if I told him I had a chance to legally knock a player on his ass and take him out of the play but I didn't do it because I didn't think the block was "necessary". It's always necessary until the whistle blows. Who knows what cold have happened. Maybe there is no way JT was going to make a tackle? Maybe there's a fumble going back the other way, and now at least that's one less player that could lay a block on an EWU player?

Obviously some of you have never played the game. :coffee:

Just about looks like from the guys avatar that that could have been a helmet to helmet hit, it was cheap, and I think everyone knows it.

Not everyone.

Correct. Shoota and the gang have never seen a cheap shot.

Would now be a good time to quote some of the 800 "pussification of America" posts that we've had to endure on this forum? :)

Remember that the rest of the BS have no doubt seen the way the "shoota" carries
himself and will consider that when playing against him. "Smart" qb's don't antagonize
defensive players lest they get broken in half when the opportunity arises. I'm proud
to say neither JJ nor DMG are on that level. :thumb:

As an Eagle fan I admire the Griz fans passion for their team and program. Most are classy folks. Some get caught up in their passion no different than any fan base. I rarely post on these things and just casually observe but I found so much hypocrisy in VA's hit on JT I couldn't help myself. There is another thread on here "Death of DOLA" where many Griz fans are advocating the return of o-line nastiness. VA nailed him fair and knowing football like I do, fully understand if a Griz intercepted a pass, VA or any other opposing QB, would be a primary blocking target. It's football and it's rough. The block probably didn't help AC get into the end zone but players aren't spectators. Eagle Players and Griz players alike play with passion and there wasn't a player on the field Saturday that wouldn't have done it. And none of them are bad kids for it. Just hard nosed football players. There were other way more bone crushing hits on Saturday but that one got noticed because we can all agree that QB's rarely de-cleat all American linebackers.

I must have missed VA "taunting" and "antagonizing." Are you guys talking about the block on Tripp or something else? I could not bring myself to watch the replay of the game and must have missed it live. Could someone please explain it to me or post a vid. [Being serious here].

Just because there may be no video evidence doesn't mean it never happened, right Cat fans?
