Eastern Washington Fans (Except Screamer) Showed Some Class

Griz fans claim to be sooo knowledgable...but in some instances they are just flat-out clueless. Case in point the Vernon Adams block on Jordan Tripp...

Yes Adams ran down the field in search of lighting up Tripp, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Why Adams did that is not known by anyone that has posted thus far (hence the Griz Fan cluelessness). The reason Adams did that was in retaliation for a "dirty play" by Tripp earlier in the game. Previously in the game, when Tripp got up off Adams, Tripp purposely stepped (cleated) on Adams foot as Adams (the ball carrier) was getting up. Adams looked for to the ref for a flag, didn't get it, so as Adamns walked backwards back to the huddle in disbelief Adams pointed downfield at Tripp as if to say Ok I got you next time! That lit a fire in Adams, not only did Adams then knock Tripp clear to Tokyo, Adams played like the best player on the field!

And to the point someone said really the fans are the ones that hate the opposing teams and that the players respect the other players, I believe that. Case in point, Tripp praised Adams after the game in the media, saying he couldn't be more complimentary of Adams. He sang Adam's praises incredibly. It was cool to see!

Excellent post. We would all be creaming our pants if the situation were reversed. We should remain fair and balanced like our good friends with Fox. Good insight on the story behind the hit, which was a good one and legal. Again, hats off to EWU. We will rise again.

No Griz QB would ever run down the field to lay a cheap block on a clueless player, the only reason Adams ran down to lay that block is because there was no one else around him to lay his punk ass out, they were all too busy watching and participating in the play, not sure what Tripp was doing so maybe he deserved the block. Why was Tripp so complimentary of Adams then? Sounded like respect to me. And I've read nothing but positive comments about us from Adams and Baldwin. It is football. People get lit up. It happens. I just watched the play, Adams was on the ground Tripp standing there, Adams got help up with Tripp still standing there, when Adams got up Tripp went to turn around and barely stepped on Adams' toe as he was walking away, Adams then shoves Tripp in the back before looking at the ref. You must be an EWU fan if you think this was a dirty move on the part of Jordan it looked like a total accident as Tripp was walking away and was not even looking down at Adams foot. It upset Adams but don't accuse Griz players of things so that you can suck the d!ck of VA, some of you are as obsessed with him as you were with Armanti "lawn mower man'' Edwards. Adams is a cocky little prick and I am sick of Griz fans defending him!!!

Man, uh, I just got out of a sack and saw Clark down field I threw it to him, and Tripp and I we're going at it the whole game, talking smack, pushing each other around, and I just thought I should get him man. I saw him going down field and I got him. It felt good you know, he's a great player, it was awesome playing here my first time.
