I stand by the EWU has a better offense than UW has displayed and am pretty confident that they will score 2.5-3 times or more the points than UDub. UDub may have a few guys that could be first round choices, but as a unit, they have been poor, which I think could probably mean there is a good chance they won't be first round choices. I also have not said that Montana hasn't played anyone nor that the Griz couldn't or shouldn't win. I just don't think some of these 42-17 predictions are very realistic.

You're 100% correct. Maybe somebody can post more quotes on here of a UW reporting writing about how good the UW offense should be. Go ahead and believe that all ya want! I've seen both teams play, multiple times this year and I've seen it with my own eyes. EWU has a better offense than UW. Don't bother posting about level of competition, don't care. If the griz hold the Eags to 10 points or less, I'll eat the crow.

Montana’s defense did a great job at pressure and limiting the big play. The real difference in the game was Barriere stepping up and making a few plays when it mattered. Two years ago he couldn’t handle the pressure but tonight he showed some real maturity and didn’t get rattled.

In all seriousness, who knows, you could be right. I think both teams might be better prepared for that sort of matchup though. In the end it was a great game. I don’t see many teams (if any) beating Montana the rest of conference play.
