are they building a moat?
Wouldn't that be rather duplicative of the shit pond?
are they building a moat?

The Phase I fundraising went very well, and efforts have already begun on Phase II. The original 2017 plan called for $16MM, but the development effort exceeded that number in short order, and instead of calling it a day and starting Phase II, the AD decided to make Phase I even better on the order of $18.2MM. The Academic Center will be improved from the original plan and a few other upgrades (like CDA's favorite: hydro therapy).
Here are a few highlights of the MSU indoor facility plan:
* 150,000 to 160,000 square feet
* 300-meter track for indoor training and NCAA competition
* 8 lanes with 8 lane straight-a-way
* 100-yard synthetic field for all field sports
* seating for up to 1,000 spectators
* locker rooms, concessions, restrooms and amenities to support events
* 45’-0” clear below structure at perimeter, 65’-0” clear at center
* Press Box and Camera Positions
I guess I understand the peeper ponds given that your HC runs that MILF camp, but what does the bold mean? Do you mean windows? Or are they building a moat?
I think that is the height on the sides and down the center.
EDIT: I suppose it looks like they aren't really building anything.

Griz til I die said:Here’s something that nobody’s thought of. Why not take the NDSU approach on this? Get a temporary bubble to use as an indoor practice facility, until you can raise the money for the actual one that has all the bells and whistles. Take a look at the bubble msu just put up to replace their rec center that collapsed last year. That would work for now until the actual one comes into fruition.
If you wanna get more people, why not reach out to one of the Griz fan pages on Facebook? There’s lots of people that follow those pages that aren’t on EGriz. You’d get tons of support.Sport said:Disappointing but I shouldn’t be surprised with the mediocre response from egriz fans. They tend to talk big but shrink from accepting responsibility when asked to contribute to building a facility that would only help make our Griz football program once again a national title contender.
One poster suggested that we don’t need a damn domed practice facility because it would take away the toughness and comradely that develops from playing in freezing, snowy and wind swept conditions. To that I say poppycock. To me that shows a lack of commitment from the institution and the fans to put the best product on the field. But what do I know, I never played the game to any degree of success.
But I digress, my disappointment in our fan base to step up and contribute to the future success of our football is tempered by the fact that we have Travis DeCuire and the men’s basketball program ready to play on the national stage. GO GRIZ
Only 26 participants in our fund a covered practice facility. Unfortunately our little ground swell turned into a crater. But there’s still 26 hours to go.
If you love our Griz show it with your wallets.
