Dear Statler and/or Waldorf,

Please explain exactly what you mean by "inner city home boy."

Thanks.

AWF, as usual, has asked the right question. If you don't know what "inner city home boy" is code for you're either acting coy or you're a full on f***[*] idiot.

I also base my racism comment on precedent. Like these gems . . .

I for one could give two shits about anyone's political point of view. The thing is future recruits and their parents read this board. Fair or unfair, Montana with it's small minority population can and sometimes is viewed as a place that is not welcoming to minorities. Although I could easily argue that Montanans are a warm and welcoming people. It's about perception. And when we let comments like the above go unchallenged or unpunished we condone them and reinforce the "bigot tag."

And, finally, as a graduate of the University of Montana, I for one do not want to be associated with racist comments. These types of comments should be swiftly dealt with on this board.

Mr. Peyton, you have recently begun throwing the "ban hammer" at posters that do not follow the sites rules. You are also our greatest source of recruitment information on this board. I suggest you serve both purposes and review the site rules and act accordingly. It might not offend you personally but these posts offend others.

My apologies for dredging this sorry ass thread back up. I just received a PM from statler & waldorf (I'm not exactly sure which one). Does anyone have some sort of Rosetta Stone to translate drunken ignorance to English? I don't understand this message.

The evil cat face scares me, kinda like the flying monkeys on Wizard of Oz and the Oompaloompas on Willy Wanka. Demonic little bastards.

Agreed! Almost as scary as seeing loveyoulongtime with a load of Choate in his goatee.

I was wondering if you'd stoop to that level, so I baited you sorry ass. I was right. Couldn't just PM me and have this vendetta carried out privately. Not you. You have slandered me publicly and you will live to regret it.

I think a certain somebody has a crush!

My source, a guy called "common sense" tells me a bright, articulate, mature guy like Kupp would have the Griz be the furthest thing from his mind when he is making that important of a decision about his life for he and his family. Personally, I'm glad Kupp is staying. He is a beast and the FCS needs stars like him. His NFL future will be there in another year.

It was a close relative of his.

I was torn between these two smilies so I used them both.

What, are you going to sue him & others for calling you out on your racist drivel?

You really should just cut your losses here and take a break from eGriz, rethink your warped views and then maybe come back when you can stop acting like some jerkoff trying to impress his KKK buddies with racism and empty threats.

Just my 2 cents... :coffee:

 That's funny shit right there!! Somebody has their Muppet panties in a wad!! I would be scared shitless if I was Ursa!!

Don't really have a dog in the fight but if the phrase "inner city homeboy" is racist to you then you might be a white guy from Montana just looking to play the race card. Literally nothing about that phrase indicates race. Your assumptions is what indicated race which sort of actually makes you a racist if you want to go there....

It's obvious what he meant. Even if you're trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, after taking into account the other comments the poster in question has made is there really any question as to what he meant by "inner city home boy?"

This is the same type of blatant racism we've seen from a few other posters over here over the years who then whine about things being too "PC" or how they aren't really racist after being called out on it.

Ursa Major nailed it when he said:

Why do you feel the need to defend someone who has referred to people from Mexico looking for a better life as "Garbage", made a comment about how Dylan Roof could have had a much bigger impact by "capping one in DC instead?"

Yeah...he's not racist at all! Everyone else is...

I have no idea the concept of the poster. Don't care enough to learn about these people. Initially after reading his comment I didn't think it was racist. If the OP has racist tendencies then sure maybe... but if your first thought when hearing a phrase that has 0 connection to race is that it's racist...then you are a victim of the PC era in an area where it is pretty irrelevant.
