Hate to break your insulated view of the world bubble but thousands of us actually opt to watch real news outlets out here in the real (reality) world. If you want your Rethuglican, conservative worldview affirmed 24/7, then Faux News, the official 'fair and balanced' arm of the right wing , is for you. For those of us looking for real news, Faux is a recognized joke of a propaganda machine.

Plainsman, I'm not a big Fox News fan but get real. Care to point out where is the "real news"?

Fox News has a conservative slant.
CNN News has a liberal slant.
MSNBC is the far left propaganda organ for the democratic party.

Let me guess which one you find most informative. :ugeek:

I'll probably get roasted on here for saying this, but Aljazeera America actually has pretty decent, real news coverage rather than just talking heads arguing with each other.

There are several reasons why Fox News is consistently the #1 News Channel. The women are one of them....

Well stated.

po·lit·i·cal cor·rect·ness
noun: political correctness; noun: political correctitude
the avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.

“POLITICALLY CORRECT: A term used for whiney, overly-sensitive pansies who need everything sugar-coated for them.”

Back to the subject, as 'box' stated, he probably got advice from his family regarding the NFL. His father, grandfather, and great uncle all played in the NFL.

The same reasons Nickelback albums are consistently platinum I assume?

Well I came for the "inner city home boys" and I stayed for the politics.

Sure. Black players on football teams are "inner city home boys"

...and message board posters from Idaho are White Supremacist trailer trash. Partially explains why your posts are so terrible. Yay for broad strokes!

Kupp made the right choice. His stock can only increase with another year perfecting his skills.

Aww, Mr Landers. You are certainly free to guess what news sources I find informative - they are wide ranging and varied as I strive to remain an independent thinker, not an adherent to any one political doctrine. Though my political leanings are generally more left than right, you might be surprised at some of my political positions on any one given issue.

Frankly, I mostly threw in the Faux News hyperbole to stir up the obvious Faux News adherents who consistently toss out snide little conservative jabs on this site. Not usually my cup of tea but I thought I would pretend I was any one of a number of posters on here who toss out chum to encourage strikes. Was kind of fun but not a style of post I will continue.

Mr RJones61. Jealousy is not a positive character trait. Can't pen an engaging rejoinder on your own??

Surprised with the Decision, thought he was gone for sure. Still think he should go, but love the fact he's coming back. I think it helps that Eastern has basically everyone back on Offense besides a few lineman next year and all conference wideout Shaq Hill will be back next year (ended his season at Oregon) to give Eastern a better deep threat and help drift some coverage away from Kupp.

Eastern needed some good news after the disappointing finish...

I agree. I think it is very smart on his part to stay. I believe he will be a very high draft choice in 2017. I wish he would transfer to the Griz to take Jamaal Jones part next year but we will get over it. Wish him the best of luck in his senior year and hope he stays healthy!

I hate to say it because Jamal Jones is one hell of a receiver but, Cooper Kupp would do more than take his spot. By the time all is said and done, Cooper will be the the most prolific wide receiver in FCS history. I've enjoyed watching him as a fan of the whole Big Sky Conference.

Amen to that.

Heard from a reliable source that one of his main reasons for staying is to "destroy the Griz" next year. He could graduate this December. I also heard that he wants to improve his stats. (Seems risky to me because he could also get hurt, but I am sure he is getting good advice from NFL relatives.)

My source, a guy called "common sense" tells me a bright, articulate, mature guy like Kupp would have the Griz be the furthest thing from his mind when he is making that important of a decision about his life for he and his family. Personally, I'm glad Kupp is staying. He is a beast and the FCS needs stars like him. His NFL future will be there in another year.

Never thought he'd go early. He's intelligent(3.52 gpa in Economics), and from Yakima, not some inner city home boy. Makes the jokes about EWU academics look lame. Smart move. :thumb:

Dear Statler and/or Waldorf,

Please explain exactly what you mean by "inner city home boy."

Thanks.

AWF, as usual, has asked the right question. If you don't know what "inner city home boy" is code for you're either acting coy or you're a full on fucking idiot.

I also base my racism comment on precedent. Like these gems . . .

I for one could give two shits about anyone's political point of view. The thing is future recruits and their parents read this board. Fair or unfair, Montana with it's small minority population can and sometimes is viewed as a place that is not welcoming to minorities. Although I could easily argue that Montanans are a warm and welcoming people. It's about perception. And when we let comments like the above go unchallenged or unpunished we condone them and reinforce the "bigot tag."

And, finally, as a graduate of the University of Montana, I for one do not want to be associated with racist comments. These types of comments should be swiftly dealt with on this board.

Mr. Payton, you have recently begun throwing the "ban hammer" at posters that do not follow the sites rules. You are also our greatest source of recruitment information on this board. I suggest you serve both purposes and review the site rules and act accordingly. It might not offend you personally but these posts offend others.
