A multitude of players trying to improve their situations via the portal are finding out it is much less reliable than they might have initially thought. Being picked up after a knee surgery is only going to make it that much more daunting. Hopefully he already has a place to land or this move might end badly for everyone concerned.

As an obvious lifelong Hornet fan with bona fides coming out of his ears, I’m curious how you learned that he’s entered the portal and needs somewhere to land.

The only thing I claimed to have learned is that the portal can be treacherous and more often than not it leads to heartbreak instead of desired results. If Grossman is considering the portal I hope he thinks it through carefully.

Rehab in AZ. Flagstaff would be tolerable, this time of year. Phoenix or Tucson, naw! Years ago, I had an uncle who would take his summer vacation in Montana, just to get the hell out of Yuma. I know of Montana Snowbirds who winter in AZ. Don't know what you'd call those from AZ who summer in Montana.
