Center snap to QB

OK OK OK

THE "HIKE" WAS A TAD BIT SLOW! But is now up to speed.

OTHER SPEED ISSUES HAVE BEEN NOTED.
The O-Line is slow. The D-Line is slow. The backs are slow. Damn, the entire team is slow including the coaches and now we find some posters that are ....SLOW!

NEXT ? ? ?

ATLANTA,

Keep calm or you will be on the ban again!

NO Nasties now....remember you are on ban probation. Think good Griz thoughts.

Atlanta,

I think I can speak for most of us. Your continual negative posting is borderline moronic. We all get that you have concerns, (but I think you have other motives) but you are filling the board with constant drivel. Since you could not take the hints I sent you I leave you with this...

Mr. Atlanta,
What you've been posting are some of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent posts were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read them.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

8th grade drivel. Stay with obsessing about recruiting. You do a good job there, but violate the First Amendment as a moderator. I could give a sh*t if you like me, hate me, or think I am negative. I have just as much right to post my thoughts on here as you do. You are not elected, you are a volunteer. Don't let the title go to your head.

This is a privately-owed internet forum. Why do you think you're entitled to post here? You some kind of librul or somethin?

ATLANTA GRIZ1 IS exactly right. the center snap to the quarterback is A FUCKING TOOL to get the offense off on the right foot. If we can't execute it PROPERLY, we are in for a world of hurt. Anyone who disagrees is FIT FOR A MENTAL INSTITUTION.

I got the responses I expected. You dolts are devoid of observing anything technical about the game of football. "The coaches will fix it", "we fixed it last week", blah blah blah. Stay at 40,000 feet, and you'll be more in your comfort zone. Don't attempt to discuss anything technical.

It IS A PROBLEM. I was told that directly by an assistant coach YESTERDAY that they are very concerned about the snap, and that it IS NOT FIXED! So, save your sophomoric slams for the pediatrician lemmings that think any of you know jack-sh*t about the game of football. Here's a little news flash for ya,Wally's World and Playa Rape are not the only posters who know coaches. I want to see all of you eat crow after the first FU exchange between the center and our QB.

I discussed it with a coach yesterday also (and yes I played and coached successfully for many years). It is an area they are working on. It is an issue they were and are still concerned about and continue to address but it has improved daily in practice and continues to improve daily in practice (their words to me). They expect our current center to step up and perform and are starting to see the results they want (Pygmalion effect).

You have information and opinions to share that are good and worth reading and listening to. But, your delivery is less than professional in many if not most cases. It is going to take a very long time for many on here to pay attention to you (if they ever do) because you have felt the need to defend yourself and try and prove the value of your point by putting others down to build yourself up. (Yes others are just as bad and attacking. If you decide that it is worth your time to continue to contribute posts raise your game above that part of egriz because the game plan you are using to get your point across is not working and is getting very old. (The golem effect seems to be in play here.)

FINE, I'M VERY worried about the center snap to qb and everyone I have spoken to in the LAST FEW DAYS has directly MENTIONED IT! It might be the downfall of this season when all is said and done. I'm ESPECIALLY worried about losing potential recruits when they see how bad our center/qb exchange is. TRUST ME, I'm with you.

Good point on the negative impact recruiting. Had never thought of that. Thx.

I am ACTUALLY not all that worried ABOUT it. All the QUARTERBACK has to do is reach DOWN and GET the ball and heave it into the end zone. Problem SOLVED. See, that WAS technical.

And, with low snaps, we probably don't have to worry about high snaps over the qb's head, especially Gus". I'm considering threads on worries about the qb dropping the ball, the receivers dropping balls, and the quarterbacks throwing too far away from receivers.

Don't forget throwing over receivers heads, hardest throw in football is downhill.

Center snaps haven't been an issue for about a week now.

So, they WERE a problem a week ago, but are great now! Whatever dude!  :jack:

Improvement through practice and continual reps - who would've thunk it right?

Unless you think that these pre-fall camps aren't meant to improve the players?

Right on, spin it baby spin it! So, let's get your position straight. Our back-up center, who took plenty of snaps as a back-up, and had lots of problems with snaps, is named the starter, and miraculously, a week later, due to "continual reps", is now an accomplished snapper! Gee, who knew?

Why don't you just admit that I am right. you must think you're Hillary Clinton, and can save face by spinning facts. You're about as credible on this topic as Playa Rape at an "Attorney Ethics" meeting.

I like how you see posts about center snaps, and then a week later you start a thread on it, and then you act like you're the first one to notice center snap problems. Have noticed that the receivers have dropped some balls. Maybe you should start a thread on that.

Back, back, back, back, back, back, gone! This would have been a homer in Yellowstone as well. Nicely played.

At the scrimmage yesterday, the qb's took all snaps under center. No low snap problems at all. No slow ones either. I'd like to see some fast d-end steal those naps.

That's great news. I WAS hoping that was KIND OF the situation. THINKING ahead, MAYBE we will have a good exchange. PEOPLE need to understand that the quarterback MIGHT need to ONLY make one READ. Not sure about THE ALL CAPS.

A ball over the head like that could tweak an oblique

Who cares if it rains? Clears out the smoke but we still have old Atlantan slow snapping...

Atlanta is caustic etc. but every time I read the posts he creates and the aftermath of his rebuts I laugh my Griz butt off. Atlanta needs to learn to let up on the gas/throttle and "let it go" if so, he can stick around and raise a little "fun hell".

No I don't have a clue what makes the guy tick. He stays on the edge of banishment. Why?
