Center snap to QB

Center snaps are not in the top 15 of UM problems. Every snap could have been perfect, and UM would still be 1-2. Besides the 10 poor stats in AZ's thread, bigger problems are: interceptions, o-line, key receiver drops, weak running game (in AZ's list), poor 4th down conversion rate, too many big or key pass plays given up, starting qb out, low production from return game, key lost fumbles, too many 3 and outs, etc.

To focus on center snaps is a joke. Most every poster knew that snaps were a potential problem from the time Weyer went down. However, most knowledgeable fans knew that there were many more important things to work on and worry about.

This team has some talent and potential. I thought all along that it would take some time for the new offense and new guys in the defense to develop. The NDSU win was great, but probably didn't show where the team was in terms of development. The last 2 games have had way too many mistakes, and other issues. Even several fewer mistakes or more good plays in those 2 games, like occurred in the NDSU game, might have produced different results. The team is a work in progress. Much to work on.

Stitt said if doesn't straighten out they will go in a different direction....not sure if he means player, or maybe just snap it forward to eliminate any offense at all since this way is not tearing up the field

Right. The dolts among us, me included, errantly assumed that each offensive play started with a snap. Not the only mistake, but you'll find it difficult to do anything else, good or bad, in the absence of the ability to make the exchange.

Lost a boatload of yards running around in the backfield following bad snaps. Looked like a pretty big problem to me.

PR lets not forget the kicking woes. I didn't see that bad snaps were to blame there. I could be wrong.

Different snapper there, not likely a problem. Looks like an in-out swing - hooking the ball. I think we can rule out the grip, but there may be a lie-angle shoe issue. CDA?

Good eye. Shoes are definitely a few degrees upright. He could also stand to swing it a bit more down the line.
