Cats buyout game vs NDSU

Naive in thinking a school such as MSU would honor commitments/contracts.......Guilty !!!!!
 
Fargo, where your located makes it an expensive gig. There are a lot of disappointed Cat fans that were planning on traveling out there. Yes, it didn't work out. Too bad you guys are not part of the Big Sky Conference along with ND, SDSU and SD. I would have love to see you all in the Big Sky. Then there wouldn't be any excuses for anyone. I am sure you will find another worthy opponent to take up this date. We live in a rapidly changing football landscape. We all need to do what is best for our school.

Lol, BS you charter a plane from Bozeman to Dallas or Fargo it's the same charters are not like the general public flying..that's a lame ass excuse

In fact I travel for work a lot and I can get cheaper flights to Fargo than Bozeman anyway..don't tell us it's our location etc...Bozeman isn't exactly Los Angeles

As it is, North Dakota is a member of the Big Sky Conference; NDSU, SDSU and South Dakota are members of the Missouri Valley Conference (along with such others as Northern Iowa, Western Illinois, etc.), which to me, makes more sense geographically than those four being all members of the BSC.

No contract was broken; the contract had a buyout clause, which NDSU agreed to. MSU exercised its contract option.

Meanwhile Montana travels to Grand Forks three years in a row. Figure that one out.
 
I think the bison fans should post over on BN. If you go to BN you will see that the Cat fans are extremely disappointed that this game is not taking place. Although, they can understand why in the terms of money and recruiting.

Sorry, Griz fans to be taking up space here on EGRIZ.
 
I don't care that game was bought out, I care more about them leaving us in a hell of a spot. There is certain way you go about doing this and MSU did it all wrong.
 
Fargo bison you can think what you want. Like was mentioned, there is a buyout clause in the contract. It was within the dates stipulated. This is a contract your school agreed to. Your whining is getting old. We agree we would love to see that game played as fans. However, every school has to look out for its own good. Thats why schools have an AD. His job is to look out for the best thing financially for his school.

You don't need to tell me things I already know, I am well aware how contracts work. Like I said there are ways you go about doing this kind of thing and your AD showed he has no integrity.

I will whine about this until we get a replacement game scheduled...most other Bison fans though won't be as nice.

If your dumbass AD is so pissed off, maybe the next time he agrees to a home and home contract he will negotiate for a higher buyout and a longer term of notification, MSU did honor the contract by paying off your dumb North Dakota ass.

No next time he will just do business with an AD who has integrity and class. Other schools have bought us out before and I've never heard him say the things that he is saying today about them.

So much for the Omnipotent Cats. Obvious attempt at avoiding a classic beat down in Fargo. Once in a lifetime, maybe you can explain it away, but twice? Can hardly wait for the Griz-Cat game. FTC.
