Every Cat fan on Earth is praying BH takes an NFL gig or any other coaching job that gets him out of Montana. The end

I would 100% be just fine if Bobby stayed at UM until his last breath. Do you guys realize how fun it is to beat Bobby in a football game?! Sorry but beating Bob Stitt didn't quite have the same depth to it...neither did losing. Hauck is really good for the rivalry so he needs to just stay put.

Bobby is 2-1 in last 3 games against Cats. Griz beat NDSU in playoff. Cats didn’t. Griz appear to be back. Your days of beating Bobby are probably over. The Griz appear to have already filled all holes for next year. Gubner is not replaceable, but d-line will be much deeper next year. Griz too returners stayed. A number of too Cats have left. They have showed that they are in it for themselves and not team players. Griz culture is stronger. I wish McDowell had stayed, but we may end up being better without him. We will see if Mellott can stay healthy and effective without Chambers. Those two were a strong combo and gave you the luxury of healthy at least one healthy qb. Teams have now figured out how to defend the Cat O.

Cool...still never want Bobby to leave. He takes the rivalry up a notch which makes it more fun. As a fan, that's the type of coach I want to beat. Win or lose, it just means more when Bobby is involved.

You probably won’t think of him again until November. By December there will be pitchforks and torches in Bozo. He is the second coming of Rob Ash. His performance will decrease each year. I love that he is over there. Slow roll to mediocrity masked by Choader’s recruits and a weak BSC when he came in. Lots of gnashing of teeth right now with the felines.

Obviously Copper is exaggerating to make a funny. But you have to admit, ILTC, there's a whole lot of whistlin' past the graveyard going on in Catville.

Perhaps. But not from me. I'm pretty optimistic for the upcoming season. I hated how the season ended for us this year. Obviously work to be done. But we return a good core of guys and I'm happy moving away from our coordinators. Though not how I would have handled it. I have a lot of faith in Vigen. Our schedule is much easier this season so I feel pretty good that we're set up for success.

I'd love if we got a kicker who could ever put the ball between those huge yellow poles though.....

I think there are 4 really good teams next season; the Dakotas and the two in Montana. I don't see any reason to worry just yet. ;)

I actually completely get that. I'll just raise my hand here and admit that I feel the same about Choate. I keep irrationally hoping he goes back to the Cats so that we could get a win over him. I don't know Jeff Choate at all, but I hate Jeff Choate. So I feel some kinship there.

Also, I'm sure you get it a lot, but thanks for all you do covering kids in Montana and recruiting. Hugely appreciated.

Have you checked out your Ski Jumping Team for prospects? That's how Jan Stenerud got 'discovered,' by the basketball coach, no less. 8-) Ah, Gatton Field. A parking lot, now.

I just discovered the record holder for missed FGs is the same guy!

Elrod, as you know most everything reminds me of movie quotes. This is no exception. The 'I hate him' hooked me.

I agree with that, with one qualifier. "His last breath, OR MINE!"
After that....

Why do you believe the Cats will be more successful or better next season, other than an easier schedule? With graduation and portal losses, I would have thought the opposite. Why would Cats be a top 4 team?

Curious if they have a QB developed so they keep their dual qb system. How do you replace chambers size and athleticism. I don’t see any way that Tommy makes it through the season if he has to take every snap with their run first offense. Especially after losing so many key lineman up front. I also don’t see them changing the offense to protect him. Maybe if they hired from outside the program, but not from within like they did.

You have a couple of people already debating you, promise I'm not trying to jump in when you have your hands full. I'm genuinely curious. What players are you looking to step up this year that will get them over the hump? Is there another offensive or defensive stud you would predict a breakout season for to make up for some of the losses?

I don't follow the Cats much beyond their starters, to be honest, so I'd love to hear your thoughts.

There’s been quite a bit of conjecture all season on his status. When we see a news release from the University I’ll believe it. I don’t think he intends to go anywhere. Hope he stays to continue to work with this group that he has built back up.

A lot of us doubted the possibility of what happened this year, and I’ve rarely seen a coach press all the right buttons to turn things around the way he and his staff did. Glad he stuck to his guns and bet on himself. Hope he continues to bet on the Griz and Missoula.
