Beer

Living in Southern Arizona in the winter it is important to know Spanish, but I have found that only two phrases are really needed. "Una mas cerveza por favor!" and "Donde esta el banjo."

It must be confusing to be pointed towards a banjo after savoring your mas cervezas. All I know is I sure don't want to pick up that thing after you've been there.

I'm in a phase where I like so-called session IPAs. Stone has "Go To IPA." Firestone Walker has "Easy Jack." Lagunitas has "All Day Ale." I'm sure there are others. Anyway, the gig is you get a full-bodied brew at about 4.5% ABV with similar nutrition specs as a Bud heavy or Coors Original. The idea being, it's craft brew, and you can drink more than 3-4 of them and still have room to eat whatever you put on the smoker many hours before.

In deference to the Spanish spelling police (Grizzlies 1982), the correct phrase is "Donde esta el bano?" wih a tilde over the "n". I don't want you handling my thing before or after.

Svijany Beer is #1!

When one of my sons was about 12, a bunch of his friends were at our house. My wife and I were listening to one of them singing this song, which was pretty funny by itself. However, he stopped right in mid song, and seriously asked the rest of the group: "So.... Has anyone ever had titties or beer...?" It was classic. I don't think any of them even answered.

Kettlehouse is indeed fine. Was introduced to their famous Cold Smoke several years ago, but found that the big winner for me was their IPA Double Haul. They get the hops just right in that one.

Also if you are ever around Flagstaff they have a brewery on the site of an old lumberyard, right down town, and their Lumberyard IPA is to die for.

Double Haul took gold at the World Beer Cup this year for best English IPA.. I prefer my IPA's to be a little more bitter but still its a great beer!

Hard to beat a Pilsner Urquell straight from Plzen where it all began in 1842...the Czechs craftsmenship also extends to a sweet shooting little 9X18mm CZ-82 semi-auto pistoli...

Had a Scotch ale in Billings at Uber Brew . Made Cold Smoke taste like warm PBR. The North West US has the best Beer in the World.

Am I the only person on the planet who favors Pilseners over ales? No Stitt!

AllWeather, no you are not alone. A fine Pilsner is the best beer in the world.

The micro brew crowd is just louder (probably because they can't handle their drinks).
