Anyone see how EWU did in the latest Business Journals ranking of public universities? UM took a bit of a hit due to diversity (1star) due to too many women and not enough out of state students. I saw UW was near the top of the list, EWU should be at least 3rd on the list of public universities in Washington State right?

I did catch that. Unfortunately, Eastern was ranked last among public universities in Washington behind UW, WSU, WWU, Evergreen State, and CWU. In fact, EWU was ranked so far below the rest of the bunch that it was in a different category called "Lower Echelon." Interestingly enough, "universities" in the "Lower Echelon" are not hyperlinked, and thus, do not have profiles on the website.

I'm not sure that is fair to not compare ewu with these other universities. I imagine ewu does quite well when compared to it's peer schools (e.g. Renton Technical College, Mukilteo School of Massage:"MSM").

You have to go pretty deep to find Ewoo:

Edmonds CC: #998

South Central Seattle CC: #1,354

Ewoo: #1,896. In the write up, the authors were very high on the fact that Cheney has both a Taco Bell AND a Taco Time.

Exactly. Like a classic Prop 48, EWU really doesn't belong in higher education.
