Strategically, it doesn't make much sense for either NDSU or Montana to move that game. It sucks to not be on ESPN, but I think both schools are looking at the longer term playoff implications. Neither school would want to give up the FBS games the following weekend. I guess we just meet when originally scheduled and watch one of the best FCS games of the year.....

It doesn't matter whether it's on ESPN or not. The NDSU and UM fanbases will still see the game with local coverage. There wouldn't have been that many more watching it on ESPN anyhow.

Actually it was a mutual agreement between the schools neither wanted to move the game up it was just as much NDSU's decision as it was UM's.
