You are half right. They approached UM and NDSU first. The decision was mutual between the schools. Anybody that thinks ESPN would rather show EWU/SHS over NDSU/Montana is on some illegal shit.

And the Griz mutually agreed to turn this down for what reason...

On this I agree with you....NDSU & UM should have done everything in their power to make this game happen for ESPN.

But, they changed the label to read "Lager". The only two places in Missoula, (that I can find), that sell it, are Pattee Creek Market and Orange Street Food Farm. I stop at both places at least once a year to pick up a 6 pack.

It's also readily available in the bars in Boone, NC. I drank two "regular" Michelob's in 2012 on our trip to Boone, while I watched ALPHA absolutely destroy 3 lbs of the best cheese fries ever made!

I remember in HS my friend and I sent my cousin to the liquor store to buy us a six pack. My cousin was over 21. I remember my cousin returning with the six pack in cans. My friend and I just looked at each other in disbelief "what is this we asked?" We wanted those funky bottles! I guess we were a little spoiled now that I look back on it.
