25,684, official attendance. I thought there were more. Ha.
At no point did the stadium look that full on tv. I would have guessed 21-23k

There's no way it was 25k. My dad, who is a cheer for the MT team guy) and my brother(griz fan) and I were at the game and all remarked how it looked about 3/4 full. The ladies next to us were talking with us about the same thing.
We showed up an hour before the game and it was easy to find parking close to the game.

A lot of people want to boxes and canyon club. The CC was packed. They started running out of beer. How did the game turn out?

First time I’ve ever been in the CC was last night. What a venue. Watched the end of the Bama/LSU game then went back out to our seats. Anyone with season tickets there is definitely spoiled.

How much are season tickets to the CC?
HookedonGriz said:I was actually impressed. There were way more people in there at the beginning than I thought there would be, given the weather, hunting, etc. I’d say it was a solid 22K to start. That went down to maybe 6-7k in the 3rd quarter though.

I was thinking the same thing at the kickoff. The crowd was energetic, loud and into the spirit. I was thinking around 22k or a bit more. Good crowd with the conditions.
Go Griz!

That I’m not sure. We sit in section 225 and two guys came out to our tailgate at half and said they were leaving and just handed us their CC lanyard passes and said go warm up. So we obliged!

There were no seats in the CC. I talked to a guy who had been given tickets at a tailgate at halftime. We watched the end of the LSU game together. He was an LSU fan.

That was probably my buddy Steve I went up there with. His mom grew up in Louisiana so that’s why he’s an LSU guy.
Is it hard to accept that the official attendance announced (for all of the NCAA) is tickets sold, not actual butts in the seats? Most of the discrepancy is for season ticket holder no-shows. Larger for this game than most for all the reasons cited. We have in the range of 19,000 season ticket holders. Nevertheless, the revenue did not take a hit.Allezchat said:hm.grwn.grizfan said:At no point did the stadium look that full on tv. I would have guessed 21-23k
