Attendance number for today?

There's no way it was 25k. My dad, who is a cheer for the MT team guy) and my brother(griz fan) and I were at the game and all remarked how it looked about 3/4 full. The ladies next to us were talking with us about the same thing.

We showed up an hour before the game and it was easy to find parking close to the game.

Is it hard to accept that the official attendance announced (for all of the NCAA) is tickets sold, not actual butts in the seats? Most of the discrepancy is for season ticket holder no-shows. Larger for this game than most for all the reasons cited. We have in the range of 19,000 season ticket holders. Nevertheless, the revenue did not take a hit.

We need the night games in September, not November. It's MT!

Maybe the Griz thought CP would enjoy a Nov. night game in Missoula.

I talked to some CP student workers/managers after the game. They said they enjoyed the Friday night bar scene in MIssoula, and said it rivals the very good bar scene in SLO. To their surprise. Staying at the Holiday Inn must be fun.

I would agree that 1/2 or more left at the half, but no way it was 25,684. That may have been sold tickets but not at the game, lots of aluminum fans. Maybe 20K at best, but the other 5K plus missed a damn fun time!!!!
