Many of the NDSU teams that won championships were better than this Cat team. SDSU team from 2 years ago was absolutely stacked with talent.

NDSU this season were a better team than MSU but they goofed up against ISU. If the NDSU ISU game is replayed, NDSU wins 9/10 times.

The game was a crappy representation of FCS football in some respects. Amateurish repetitive penalties, coaching mistakes and the apparent lack of practice at kicking field goals and defending against getting them blocked

That said, although they were definitely up and down at times, this was probably the best bobcat team ever. Though it is not even joke worthy to imply this team was anywhere near the all time best FCS teams. Solid team forever loved in Bozeman yet soon forgotten by the rest of the country. That will be their legacy.
