Are the Cats the best FCS team ever?

No not close even. They were a great team but best ever, no. Infact the redbirds beat them in most statistical categories and had multiple opportunities to win the game but failed. 1996 Marshall, 2013 and 2018 NDSU teams come to mind as better teams.
 
The best team ever that won by one point in overtime, because of a blocked chip shot field goal against an unranked opponent. Perhaps you should listen to your own username.

Barely beat a team that finished 3rd in their conference on a neutral field. scats had a great year no doubt...best team ever...not by a long shot..hell they had like 9 offsides.....how does that even happen....
 
The scats almost completed one of the most epic collapses in FCS championship history, if not for a botched hold. Best FCS team ever is laughable and an obvious piss poor troll attempt. Up by two TD's in the fourth and had to luck out in an OT victory? There was a brief millisecond i actually felt bad for them.
