The cowboys handled Seattle soundly...that game wasn't even as close as the score would have you believe.

IMO, the cowgals don't even make the playoffs without some ref help and they certainly don't win yesterday if they didn't have help. I agree 100% the gals outplayed the Hawks early in the season when Hawks were still dealing with Harvin/Tate BS and they were minus a couple of pro bowl defenders.

I also agree 1 call does not determine a game (in most cases) but can if the call is at a specific time in the game, like when Sea beat GB a couple of years ago. In the games where the refs assisted the gals, Lions and Hawks both had momentum, the lead and were moving down the field before the mysterious no call in Seattle and the dumb founding flag pick up yesterday. That said, I am thankful-I did not want Seattle to play a hot Lions team. If the gals can some how beat GB, then Seattle will get another shot against dallas with a much healthier D. I would much rather play the gals again. Especially since Romo dropped some incentive in the post game interview by saying the Lions were by far the best D they have played all year. Sorry Brint, I have to say it. Go cowgals, beat GB.

He doesn't, they lost, deal with it people. Face it, any team in the league has had it's fair share both ways.

Actually I lived in Seattle late 70s, so I paid my dues cheering for Seattle when they sucked and played in the ugly King Dome, though Largent and Zorn could be fun to watch. Before that Dallas was one of my favorites and I still like them more then Detroit. But seriously this should not be a Sea/Dallas thing. Plain and simple, the gals benefited from a huge ref mistakes that probably gave them the game, for the second time this year. End of story, so lets just move on.

First off, I was seriously cheering for Dallas to win, but I was concerned because the Dallas D looked tired. Good chance Lions go down the field, taking time off and probably scoring. Lions were in a great spot with first down before the flag pick up. As for other game, I have already agreed Seattle was out played and Dallas deserved the victory. But consider the non-football drama that was extensive, plus during the week after Washington game Percy Harvin whining about penalties that took away 3 of his TDs and then refusing to play much of Dallas game, plus Seattle was missing 2 defensive pro bowlers and it still took a bad call for Dallas to win. But overall Dallas did deserve that victory.
At this point, I really hope the gals can beat the packers and if it takes a couple of bad calls, I will live with that.

I cant help believe if someone takes 3 steps with control of the ball, its a catch, no matter what happens when the ball hits the ground. What if he took 4 or 5 steps, but the ball comes loose at he hits the ground-still no catch? Really dumb rule and now my Hawks have to play the better team. CV is right paybacks are a bitch.

Terrible rule. What is a football move if it isn't three steps and a lunge to the goal line? That said it sure makes all the conspiracy theory people look stupid. If the NFL wanted the Cowboys in the Superbowl that would have been a catch. The NFL, and all of football, is terribly officiated and replay is making it no better and in some cases worse. The problem with replay is it leads to over analyzing and 60% of all plays could have a penalty called on them, a bad spot, etc.

The replay officials should be forced to ask that question of themselves as their last act before announcing the decision. "Will this call be reasonably disputed?" If the answer is yes then they should have to let it stand. Replay should be used to correct egregious mistakes not to enforce highly questionable outcomes based on a gnat's whisker. And I hate the Cowboys (for claiming to be "America's Team!") in case that matters.

I completely agree, that call ultimately forced the ref to judge Dez Bryants athleticism, and what I mean by that is, in their eyes him placing three feet on the ground than lunging for the goal line was viewed as all part of the motion of the catch....but anyone who actually has watched him play all year has seen him do that 100xs. He MADE the catch in the air, secured it completely in his forearm than chose to go for the endzone. That's a football move if I've ever seen one.

If the gals cant beat the packers with Rogers gimping and Lacy missing much of first half, then the gals are not the better team. No question in my brain, that was a catch by Bryant, but you cant say you would have won. Packers were rolling at that point on Offense and they would have had 4 minutes for Rogers to show why he is the best. There is no way of knowing for sure. I just hope Rogers doesn't heal up too much this week.
