Are you saying Montana should only recruit in-state players?

Better tell NDSU, who just signed 24/31 in their class from out of state. :thumb:

Wasn’t being serious. Sorry if it wasn’t clear.
I didn't assume so, based on your past comments. I was trying to follow your sarcasm, but obviously that didn't come through

The current #37 decides who the next #37 is. If Jace's decision is overruled for whatever reason, especially for the sake of marketing, then end the tradition right now.
If Robby Hauck, who was not born in Montana, or played HS football in Montana gets it, the tradition is over. Robby should not be a candidate period. Bobby should not allow it.

Ummm, but Robbie was born in Montana.

Do you mean for Vegas? How old do you think Robbie is? I’d guess he was born around 2000. That’d put Bobby on Washington’s staff two years from being hired here. I don’t know what Bobby’s family’s residence status was at the time but any site that has a birthplace listed from Robbie has it as Missoula. That would also mean he was raised in Missoula, at the very least, from ages 2-10.

Say what you will about Robbie and him being the coaches son, the man is 108 tackles away from breaking Kane Ioane’s 20 year old Big Sky Con record for career tackles. Not saying he should get #37 but he definitely is deserving of it.
