From what I am hearing....both the Polson young men are being recruited on the offensive side of the ball.....

Absolutely. MSU has a very good shot on 5-6 more really good in-state kids. A long time until February 2017.

I mean cmon. Aren't you excited for the yearly "We got more kids" vs. "We got more quality kids" argument?
Hey Vim, not sure if you've touched on this cus I'm not reading 8,000 posts on who's recruiting the state better. How good is Dawson Berg and who looks to have the lead on landing him?VimSince03 said:Paytonlives said:7 instate verbals... do the cats know about this?

Thanks for the info Vim. Gonna have to step up the pass pro to play in our O but could be a good project w/ his size if he wants to learn and work hard. How about Poetzel and Baker. Who's got the inside lead on those two?VimSince03 said:alabamagrizzly said:Hey Vim, not sure if you've touched on this cus I'm not reading 8,000 posts on who's recruiting the state better. Griz family. Prototypical size for an interior offensive lineman. Good run blocker. Struggles in pass pro. For his size, he should dominate more but doesn't. Needs a big senior season to cement his status as the best offensive line prospect in next year's Montana crop. Two other top guys are Luke Poetzl of Billings Senior and Zack Baker of Columbia Falls.

Awesome info Vim. Thanks again. It's rare on here to have people actually know what they're talking about.VimSince03 said:alabamagrizzly said:Thanks for the info Vim. Oh no don't get me wrong. With his size and the fact that he is a road grader in the ground game, Dawsen is a solid prospect and I think the Griz are high on him. Poetzl is getting recruited by both schools but I think they both want him to play defensive line. Baker is from a Bobcat family and he has really good feet and can really run for a big guy. However, he doesn't dominate like I think he should either at times. One thing Baker has going for him is he comes form a heavy passing team in Columbia Falls so he already has understand of the techniques of that type of offense. Poetzl is the most undersized of all three (6'4", 235 lbs.) but he is by far the best technician of the three. For example, Luke went one on one against Braydon Deming two games last year and Poetzl dominated the matchup both times.

Everyone here does that. Difference is yours are usually based on factual evidence.VimSince03 said:alabamagrizzly said:Awesome info Vim. Thanks again. Just throwing out my opinions. Call it as I see it.
