2013 Spring Roster

Hello all...just FYI mike Stallone unfortunately had issues and we decided it was in his best interest to come home and get those resolved.
He is attending Riverside community college and will be playing here in the fall.
Hopefully he can find a way back there...hopefully this time on a scholarship
If he ends up somewhere here locally (SDSU) is very possible. Our family will make it a priority to get back there for a couple games. We loved the people and the city! Good luck this season! Go Grizz

Tough break for Mike, but you gotta do what you gotta do. :thumb:

Best of luck to him and your family, and hopefully he can find his way back to the Griz or another D1 program. :)

I was disappointed to not see Mike's name on the roster. But you have to do what is best for you. I hope we see him in Missoula (on scholly) again. Regardless of where he ends up, I wish him luck!

Here is a link to an updated spring depth chart if anyone has the technical know-how to transfer this into the thread.

2013 MONTANA SPRING DEPTH CHART (Last Update: 3/28/13)

Looks like the projected 2 deep O line for the Cats is bigger than the griz O line... cannot remember the last time that was the case.

Poehls is not in the 2 deep this spring due to injury, but he comes in at a svelte 345. He will be a starter again in fall. I assume that will tip the balance UM's way.

I'm just happy we HAVE an o-line. Given last years creativity I was afraid they were going to stand in a circle holding hand singing songs....... trying to stop an onside kick WITHOUT a line was pure brilliance.

Because having an O-Line has anything to do with lining up to field an onside kick!

There isn't a "line (of scrimmage)" during a kick????

Sure there is...

next time you watch a kickoff, during any game, on any team, especially when there is a good chance of an onside kick, look to see how many offensive lineman are on the field.

To start and play for Riverside CC is sayin' something. That is a great program, pure speed! That team would probably beat half the teams in the BSC.

I got a glimpse the other day. First team WRs are Haynes, Henderson, Wolcott,
Saylor & Warren complete our top five WRs. No matter how you slice it thats a nice group IMO.

He has been moved back to defense (fs) at this point in spring he is getting first team reps and looks to be the #1.

Yes RCC is a very good program, they consistently send kids to BCS schools. Had 22 or so go out last season
Hopefully the Griz keep their eye on him.
