At least the guy in the black sweatshirt found a good way to entertain himself.Ashamed said:Griz1 said:Their length bothers me. They are taller at every position and they are long plus they shoot it pretty well. They play a lot of zone so it could be interesting with our shooters.
I am happy for Will and Kareem who will be able to have their hometown fans watch them. Just maybe Syracuse will look past us and we can pull the upset. Hoping for the best but not heading to Vegas to put a lot of money on it.
They look ready.

Good luck against Syracuse, they are a tough draw. You will have to play some really good defense, especially defending the paint.

Passing around and jacking up threees wont work in the long run.. Syracuse has droughts on offense. Southerland is the three pt shooter and got hot in big east tourney... Fair is most consistent shooter from15 and 44% three but doesnt shoot a lot of threes. MCW and triche are not good 3 pt shooters. The bigs are by no means scorers...Rebounding could be the huge difference... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=597661180246887&set=a.357235697622771.96000.100000090328281&type=1&theater¬if_t=mention" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Stoney said:Hi Montana! 'Cuse fan so this is my 1st post. Brackets are in and we know you are a good team that only has 6 losses. Can anyone give me a Grizzly snapshot that I can bring back to our board?
Looking at your stats on ESPN, it looks like you are good from three and excellent from the free throw line. You don't seem to use a lot of height but you do have a 7' guy and a 6'9 kid that plays more at the 5. You seem to be a well balanced team with no stars but about 10 guys that play well.
In all honesty, I see us winning by 8-12 maybe more, but who knows, we haven't been playing very well lately. Granted the competition has been intense, but we don't shoot the ball very well. Louisville may have demoralized us a little in the BET by blowing us out after we led by 16 with 15min left.
6'8"F J. Southerland is our best shooter but is very streaky, if he is on his game he can hit from just about anywhere, when he's off, well.... Michael Carter-Williams is our PG, can't shoot a lick but has great court vision to distribute.
I think we'll be extending our zone and daring you to beat us inside. Does anyone in the Big-Sky play zone?
Good luck and you are welcome to stop by our board to discuss CBB.

You missed the point.
Respect the fact that your opponent is where they are. And if you've never played them before, just show some BASE respect, the kind you'd show a stranger on the street.
And cocky and confident is fine, but showing a tiny bit of humility also makes sense when you've had your ass handed to you by the likes of Vermont and others, and you're not exactly on a tear.
putter said:Hi Stoney. Thanks for posting. Montana is a very young team with only 2 seniors (one lost to foot injury-Ward). In OOC Montana lost to tourney teams Colorado State by 7, South Dakota State by 1 in 2 OT's, Davidson by 6 in OT all without our starting point guard Cherry (is getting NBA looks) and, at the mid-major level, losing your starting senior point guard was a huge deal. The Griz will not have the size that 'Cuse has but can run so I am hoping for a Louisville type performance...wishful thinking. Don't really have a big that can bang all game with you and that is how you will run away with it - inside. Have a 7 footer but he is a freshman and Hutchison is Montana's other big but he is a 6' 9" junior. Will be a fun time to watch and having it be the late game is nice to be able to watch after work!!
