The JMU playoff game in '21 was very cold. My wife spent the 4th quarter in the heated bathroomsFor attending a game I like when it is not below 50 degrees which pretty much limits me to just the Griz non conference home games. I was going to go to the North Dakota game last year but a close family member got cancer so I canceled all trips last fall to spend more time with them. UA and ASU have a solid chance of one of them making the CFP this upcoming season. Tx Tech was the strongest competition in the conference but they lost their qb to gambling addiction.
I don't watch MSU play because I want to watch future NFL players
Every playoff game I attended in Missoula was very cold. The Coastal Carolina game in 2013 was particularly cold. The JMU playoff game in '21 was very cold. My wife spent the 4th quarter in the heated bathrooms.
I'm glad you'll be tuning in to more games this year then!Same here. I want to watch future NFL players, so I, too, don’t watch MSU play.
Blockbuster rented DVDs? I only used Beta.....I've never been to a Blockbuster and I have never rented a DVD.
He is still based out of Montana and training to pursue pro football opportunities. He has been a fill in reporter on SWX Montana interviewing MSU athletes and he also continues to have some local partnerships like with the Bozeman Ford dealer to continue to use his name image and likeness to make some money while he pursues professional football.Speaking of NFL, what is Tommy Mellott doing these days?

I think the Stampeders have his rights but he is focused on trying to make the NFL right now. His degree is in financial engineering, it’s probably better for him financially to pursue a career with that instead of the CFL if the NFL doesn’t workout after this upcoming season.Almost seems

Is anyone telling him there is zero chance he plays in the NFL? And, by zero I mean zero, zilch, nada, none, 0...I think the Stampeders have his rights but he is focused on trying to make the NFL right now. This. I'm sure his agent is abdicating his mandated fiduciary responsibility to Merlott by whispering sweet nothings in his ear about how he can still make bank in the nfl. When he should be telling him it's time to move on to his chosen field outside the game.Is anyone telling him there is zero chance he plays in the NFL? Sounds like he needs a few voices of reason - some mentors.
I love he is a Montana kid, but he needs to just go engineer some finances...
meh, he's just a kid, and with his history, i don't think future employers would begrudge it if he took another year to tilt at windmills. you only live once....This. I agree. He will be hire immediately if he wants to switch away from football. When he interned at DA Davidson, I was told they loved him.meh, he's just a kid, and with his history, i don't think future employers would begrudge it if he took another year to tilt at windmills. you only live once....
I saw he goes by Thomas on LinkedIn. We have 1 mutual connection Ty Gregorak.I agree. He will be hire immediately if he wants to switch away from football. When he interned at DA Davidson, I was told they loved him.
I know it's a tale as old as time, but sometimes I get reminded just how amazingly talented NFL (and other pro sports) players are. You can be an absolute worldbeater, can't miss kid in the FCS, and mere months later, every single NFL team can take a look and be like, "Nah, we aren't willing to pay you to play literally any position for us, even on a practice squad." It's bananas when you think about it that way.Is anyone telling him there is zero chance he plays in the NFL? And, by zero I mean zero, zilch, nada, none, 0...

There are over a million high school football players in America every fall, about 6% of high school players make college football at any level. Around 2% of draft eligible college players make the NFL any given year. All in all high school players have about a 0.04% chance of making the NFL.I know it's a tale as old as time, but sometimes I get reminded just how amazingly talented NFL (and other pro sports) players are.
