Manase Tupou Commits

Just going off the listed weights for Utah St (310) and MSU-Northern (340) I am guessing we will see a leaner stronger version of him by fall camp, likely around the 320-330 lb area..

He has a good motor for a big guy from the Hudl film I could find and he does a great job of keeping his pad level low.

I do have a question on a kid listed on the Spring Ball roster. Does anyone know if Walter James is actually with the squad and can he help out? If so, that brings our DT type bodies to 8 players. I also feel there may be a couple more I have left in the edge column for now.

A single wide with a ply wood addition that has broken steps climbing up it.
 
Getting back on track here, this is a really interesting pickup. Played at Utah State for two years and then he looks like he went into the portal during the Spring portal window last year. Given that he landed at Northern, I think he may have made a mistake going into the portal and that’s all he was able to muster. He was honorable mention Frontier Conference so he can definitely play at the NAIA level. If he played at Tech or Carroll though, could he have been an All-American? I’m not sure. He’s definitely a huge dude. He appears to be bigger than every OL on the team. Question is where does he fit in? Is he a starting caliber player or just a depth piece? Does he need to lose a little bit of weight? This is gonna be fascinating IMO.

Back to football: who doesn't want a 6-2, 320 lb--I am guessing 🤔 our staff will have him slim down a little.--Samoan and DT in their 4-3-4/ 4-2-5 ?

I think Nut is right --he likely plays @ 310-320 lbs. for us, and I think Hooked has it spot on--Dylan Cook's legacy looms very big at UM and even bigger @ Northern in Havre.
