No problem. They sure had that defensive power up the middle though. Nothing against our players, but the last couple of years, we didn't. When had that huge middle push, it seemed like we were much more shut down. My point is, if you don't have that, should you move off the 3-3-5?
And he was horrible. Not sure that helped.
What's funnier is thinking that the 3-3-5 that Seattle runs is anything similar to what Bobby ran.
It's like thinking that all 4-3 defenses are the same, or that all 4-2-5 defenses are the same. Nobody outside of the Rocky Long group runs the 3-3-5 like Bobby did.
I wouldn't say he was horrible at all... Not good enough sure... But horrible? Nah

Horrible by montana standards. Defense usually looked good up until 3rd down the turned into the worst defense in the country
I highly doubt they will be an upgrade from Tim and Cooper. I hope im wrong as shit but, I have a feeling this is going to be ugly

Huh…just rewatched the game vs us last week and they were almost exclusively in 4-2-5 with Sunn and Mayovski (sp) at the 2 linebacker spots and when they weren’t they were in their dime package
I didn’t watch any other eastern games so maybe they ran the 4-3 against other opponents

Just getting rid of that garbage 3-3-5 is an upgrade.

I think (hope & pray) we can get some players in the summer but if not your dead on
Would not count on very many new additions in the summer with no new portal window in the Spring. We could find some who entered the portal earlier that have not found a home.
Also limit of 105 roster size now. Can be a lille higher with some grandfathered in players
The portal isn’t the only way to get players legally.

Last I checked the Griz gave up 48 to them much later in the year, with a national championship appearance on the line and “experienced” defensive staff running the vaunted 3-3-5……I’d say that’s even worse.
