Griz Football Product

Huh? What dead family member? I don't denigrate any dead family members, by the way. Whose kids?

I was not able to ski Schmitt's couloir decades ago. I've skied alot more times at Big Sky than you have. Also, alot more at the Yellowstone Club.

Get your readers checked Bud… I said family friend, not member…

Also, YC, really? I’ve been asked by two different friends to come to stay at their place in YC and ski. The native Montanan in me won’t let me set foot on that abomination. Suits you just fine though, poser.

Couldn’t do the couloir? Guess ya never played the sport, huh?

First off, they are definitely getting RSU’s, not just salary.

Also, you saw where I said non-start ups, right? You said “The profits/stock of options that Intel is putting in the Chandler goes to Intel, not to the people who live in Chandler.” On top of being unintelligible, I was saying Intel doesn’t give employees options, they use RSU’s. Same with any peer company. Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Apple… they use RSU’s, not options.

If you worked with large tech you’d know that. But you left NY… couldn’t hack it I guess?
From a reddit post on Intel RSU's: "The vast majority of engineers do not get RSUs. Only PhD + level folks do.

Technicians get no RSUs and their grant is not merit based at all.

Managers, unless PhD or having 10+ years of experience, get nothing RSUs"

How many PhD's in Chandler at Intel?

No, you are wrong. RNT and the Bozeman start-ups that have sold or gone public have created wealth in the Bozeman area. And the impact on the Bozeman area, with the spinoffs, is way bigger proportionally than Intel in Chandleer.. Intel isn't making people or employees rich or giving them wealth in Chandler. You are clueless about business.
You are an idiot that is confusing private windfalls with economic impact. A few startup insiders getting rich didn’t transform Bozeman’s economy. Intel’s changed Chandler’s with jobs, taxes, infrastructure and housing built across the whole town. Equity is a side story. Economic impact is the main story. If you can’t tell the difference, you are clueless about economics.

Okay, what family friend? Don't know what you are talking about.

Yes, I have been to the YC many times. Have skied with Hank Kashiwa and know him. Had lunch with Warren Miller once. One of my best friends is a mucky muck there. My cousins took me. They eventually sold to the YC company, Lone Mountain. Hey, I graduated from Bozeman high. Am 5th generation Montanan on my grandfather's side and about 100th on my great grandmother and grandmother's side. You can't set foot in the YC, because they won't let you in.

Unless PhD or having 10+ years? Did you ever take a writing class at Fartmouth? Fartmouth is the worst of the ivies so it would be the biggest surprise.

Yes, many insiders, investor and senior employees getting rich has had a huge impact on the Bozeman area, and some are still starting companies. You are clueless. This is what I did for 35 years.

It was a quote from reddit. See the quotes. I didn't write it. Contact the author. You don't even know basic grammar.

A few people getting rich in Bozeman is cute. Intel transformed the town of Chandler. You are arguing pennies vs the entire economy. You are just as clueless about economics as football.

Nope, you don't know what the tech companies have done to Bozeman. I was in Chandler today. Nothing transformed at all. Ha.

"
Bozeman has undergone a radical transformation over the last decade, evolving from a quiet mountain college town into "Silicon Gallatin." The impact of tech companies is visible in everything from the city's skyline to the grocery prices.

Here is a breakdown of how the tech industry has reshaped Bozeman.

1. Economic Engine and "The Big Three"

The tech sector is now the primary driver of high-wage job growth in the region. The industry is anchored by a mix of legacy giants and home-grown successes:

  • Oracle: After acquiring Bozeman-based RightNow Technologies for $1.5 billion in 2011, Oracle became a cornerstone employer, proving that billion-dollar tech companies could thrive in Montana.

  • Snowflake: In 2021, the cloud-data giant moved its executive headquarters to Bozeman, further cementing the city’s status as a legitimate national tech hub.
  • Foundant Technologies & Zoot Enterprises: These home-grown companies provide hundreds of stable, high-paying jobs in SaaS and financial tech.

2. The Rise of "Photonics"

Bozeman has quietly become a world leader in photonics (the science of light). Thanks to research at Montana State University (MSU), the city has one of the highest per-capita concentrations of optical technology companies in the U.S.

  • Impact: There are now over 40 photonics companies in the Gallatin Valley.

  • Recent Boost: In 2024, Montana was designated as a federal "Tech Hub" (the Headwaters Tech Hub), bringing in $41 million in funding to advance autonomous systems and laser technology."

I represented RNT, Zoot and Foundant, the companies mentioned above. I already resented the largest photonics companies. You probably don't even know what photonics is.

Oh a random Reddit post? Weird then that Levels shows an RSU allotment for almost every position, including marketing. Must be all those Doctrate of Social Media Management folks. Also weird that there are entire RIA’s dedicating half their website to Intel employees who have RSU’s.

You never worked with mega-cap tech. It’s fine. Just stop pretending you know how it works. I think Costanza and Son are looking for investors, go see if you can help them. Heard that Lloyd Braun is a real go-getter!

“When I said YC, really?” I wasn’t saying it like wow, no way. Love how you can’t comprehend the context of anything anyone says. Been invited many times, always say no, too much pride.

I think you should get some sleep, don’t want you losing that rapier wit. 🙄

The context was that I went to the Fiesta Bowl with former Griz head coach Pflu. You probably never heard of him. Do you think we talked some football? I talk to him all the time, tho. I have had a condo at Big Sky for 35 years. My uncle/cousins owned/started the Town Center there. Sold 2 years ago. I take my greater family with me on my trips. Weird part is that what you described is basically nothing.
Loser is the term that comes to mind to describe you. It is no surprise why you like Pflu and Bobby 2.0 so much when they have losing records as leading the Griz in the Cat Griz rivalry.

Pflu was 11-1 as a coach against the Cats. You are so out to lunch. And learn what basic grammar is. Your Bobby comments are getting more and more ridiculous.

Who cares about Mega-cap tech in MT. I worked with Microsoft a bit. was the lawyer for RNT when they sold to Oracles. I was a lawyer for another client that sold to Microsoft, My bother-in-law was the CFO of MSFT. I know how tech and public companies work. In my NYC, we and I did work for the some of the biggest companies in the US. And I know 100 times more about these things than you do. Probably a 1000 times more.

I didn't say or indicate that you said wow about the YC. Can you not read? You've never been invited to the YC.

You have to love Fartmouth’s education. There is no need to lie. As a head coach Pflu is winless against the Cats, 0-1 and fired.

I’m going to be in Chandler next week. Come swing by I would love to assess how much of a loser you are in person. Nick Saban and Marcus Freeman were at Hamilton High School the last time I visited at the end of January a few years ago. You never get access to top tier coaches like that.

Thanks to a lame vacating of the 2011 beatdown 36-10 in Bozeman.

How much do you want to bet on Pflu? Do you not know he coached 9 years with Read? I didn’t say head coach.

My Bobby comments are good.
