Ramos into the portal

I wish to thank y'all for everything you've done. Coach X, coach Y, coach Z were the best. Blah, Blah, Blah.
After much prayer and reflection, and a bottle of Jack Daniels to wash it down with, now I'm going to screw y'all and enter the portal, with I don't know how much allahjabeeltee I have left.

Same song and dance, different players, different schools, FBS, FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA...
Credibility, character, commitment, integrity. They either have it, or they don't. Just words. 🤪

All that to say that I don't disagree with what you just said. I don't think losing him is that big of a deal, but I do think hanging on to the 3-3-5 when it's obviously not working against teams like the cats is a big deal. Maybe now would be a good time to rethink it and change the plan, but I seriously doubt that will happen. Hence my comment to just get used to the status quo. That took far more explaining than I feel like it should have. 🤷‍♀️

I agree, I don't see us moving away from it, I don't doubt we'll evolve and tweak some things. My biggest hope is we upgrade talent and ability at critical positions, and this position is one of them! GO GRIZ

Unless you have a Gubner every year it will fail us late in the season against great olines.

In today’s era. Any Gubner we do come across is leaving in the portal because dominant disruptive DTs in college football are nearly impossible to find.

The 3-3-5 is a failing concept to win championships.

UM beat MV teams this season and has beaten Cats with 3-3-5 at times.
 
Per my brother, who knows everything because he went to msu, Ramos was playing with a "bad back" all season. Saw him doing lots of stretches on the sideline for his back. But credibility an issue.

The cats certainly seem to have figured it out and how to beat it. Also we beat the cats last with Gubner right?

I just don’t know why it’s worth defending. It’s proven to be good enough to win a lot of games but not what it takes to win a championship. Every game the Griz lose we do a postmortem and it’s always “well they pushed us around on the lines”.
 
We should be scouring the portal for defensive lineman because we obviously can’t develop them. Our best defensive lineman this season transferred in from NAIA Carroll College.

That's not accurate. It's beaten the majority of MV teams including 4 this season and the Cats on occasion. It hasn't beaten the Cats consistently. The Cats, with their D, have not done as well against MV teams as the Griz have. Why don't you just stick to the facts, and not make up stuff?
