Would be curious what his "exit" interview with staff was like after the season...I mean…why? He’s right where he belongs division wise.
Good time/reason to scrap the 3-3-5.I mean…why? He’s right where he belongs division wise.
Seems like a guy better suited to a 4 man front.I mean…why? He’s right where he belongs division wise.
I don't think that will happen until we get a new coach. We just need to tweak our 3-3-5 package we run against run oriented teams with several heavier, athletic, DL to support the NT.Good time/reason to scrap the 3-3-5.
Need a big NT AND DEs for it to work. DEs have been way too small to have success in 3-3-5 schemeI don't think that will happen until we get a new coach. We just need to tweak our 3-3-5 package we run against run oriented teams with several heavier, athletic, DL to support the NT.
We just all need to get used to being pretty good but not good enough to beat the cats and not good enough to win a national championship. Just accept it.I don't think that will happen until we get a new coach. We just need to tweak our 3-3-5 package we run against run oriented teams with several heavier, athletic, DL to support the NT.
The 3-3-5 creates chaos against mediocre teams. But as soon as we get up against a dominant o-line there’s no shot without an NFL caliber DT.I don't think that will happen until we get a new coach. Oh, okay!We just all need to get used to being pretty good but not good enough to beat the cats and not good enough to win a national championship. Just accept it.
Losing Ramos does nothing to hinder our ability to beat the catsWe just all need to get used to being pretty good but not good enough to beat the cats and not good enough to win a national championship. Just accept it.
Agreed with all these takes. And I do believe there are some freshman that the staff is very high on on both sides of the trenches. Hope they make the leapMakes me wonder if we landed Hanks. I wish Ramos all the best, but I thought he really struggled this year. TBH, I thought our best DT this year was Semaulo, and I thought Bailey came on strong towards the end. If we did indeed land Hanks to go along with Bailey and Semaulo, then that's a group I can feel good about!
I just thought Seumalo was the most disruptive of the three. He was the one that I always remember getting into the backfield the most. Ramos was decent but I just don't recall him being that much of a disruptor.I thought he did a pretty good job and I am glad he was a Griz. I wish him the best in his next adventure
Schwartz too. He was a wrecking ball much of the time (maybe more of a DE tho)...Makes me wonder if we landed Hanks. I wish Ramos all the best, but I thought he really struggled this year. My comment was quoting and responding to discussion about scrapping the 3-3-5 and how that was not going to happen unless we get a different coach. Which is why I quoted a post that quoted an earlier post. It's not the first time nor certainly the last when a discussion takes a bit of a detour. If everybody had to stay completely on target with what the original post was, most threads would only be a page or two. And egriz would die. Lol.Losing Ramos does nothing to hinder our ability to beat the cats
