I attended the 2023 championship game in person as a Griz fan. Not once were the cats even on my mind. I couldn't have cared less what cat fans or their team were doing or thinking or whatever that weekend - I was only thinking about my team and my family and the fun we were having together. We ultimately lost which was sad but even then, my mind wasn't on the cats. Not once did I hear any chants or cheers regarding the cats that whole weekend, now maybe they happened and I wasn't there, but the scope and scale of anything that happens on the griz side is. NOWHERE NEAR the ESG GCG crap. Like I posted elsewhere, how the cat fans act causes secondhand embarrassment for Griz fans. It must really suck to be a decent cat fan when the majority of your fan base acts like that.

ESG GCG is grafted into your schools fight song. Its sung by the entire stadium when the team enters the field, leaves the field, scores a point, beginning of half, etc. For every game, not just at Cat/Griz. Mom's right. Scope and scale of asshattery by fanbases does not compare.

That completely depends on your perspective. Most Griz fans will agree with you, and most Cat fans will not.
To your scope and scale argument... You do have a bigger stadium, so you likely have a few more dipshits in the stands. However, after we complete our expansion, we will have just as many as you!

We don't hate you. I have a lot of family and friends who are Griz fans. We tease each other all the time. We are mature enough to know it's just a game, and if it came down to it, we would fight in the same foxhole to the end. Take a deep breath and remember we are all Montanans, Americans, and family, no matter who you root for. If you had won, I would have congratulated you and said we are going to kick your ass next year. Perspective is what you're missing.

If you think it pisses us off, you're clearly a delusional scat. Can you find one post by a Griz fan that shows any amount of animosity towards the chant? Mostly we think it's pathetic chanting outside of a Griz game. I believe silly, embarrassing, and lame are the verbs you will find.

I watched the end of the SDSU game because I like the FCS and that was one of the premier non conference FCS matchups. I would assume more than .1% of Griz fans watched that one.

You and I are in the minority on that. I watched just for fantasy football purposes's. I had Davis on my team. Plus it's fun to watch the scats lose. The vast majority of Griz fans only care about Griz football though. Remember, here on eGriz we're the 0.1%'s.
