Semifinal game tix

Sure, but it's just reasonable and logical to use whatever advantage you can. I'm not going to get on a high horse and pretend like I'm sorry we didn't allow for more tickets to get sold to the opposing fanbase in a semifinal game.
I have no issues with the way the Bobcat ticket office has done this process. It was a mess when Griz hosted NDSU a couple years ago. If I remember correctly NDSU fans bought a huge share against South Dakota a few years ago right when they went on sale. I'm just saying there are many friendships and families that are split Cats Griz. And if someone has 8 tickets and they sell a couple to a Griz friend or family member that is not a big deal. I have people that are friends and family that I have hooked up for Cat Griz in Missoula. I haven't taken up offers to go to Bozeman for a few years in all honesty because I didn't think the last couple would have been competitive. So freezing my ass off and listening to obnoxious Cat fans didn't sound great. This I believe will be a competitive game. And the Cat fans I will hang with are great people and our shit giving is good natured.

You're assuming 32 seats will sell for $1000, which they won't, but honestly, you're throwing quite a bitch fest over 60 tickets. Scalpers would exist regardless of how you did it, the vast majority of fans are paying face value or slightly more to get to see the game, just the same as always. This just simply isn't as big of a deal as you're making it to be, and you're only arguing this way because the Bobcats did it.

My "theory" was that I didn't think there would be a lot of huge markups going on. Right now there's 72 listings. 72/20767 = 0.35%. Totally destroyed my goofy theory with under half a percent being listed right now for ridiculous amounts. You're brilliant, my friend.
You do realize one listing doesn’t mean a single ticket. A listing can include eight tickets. Bobcat math is almost incredible at this point 😂

Yeah and you’re dead fucking wrong.
Are you just playing dumb or are you literally this stupid? It is by far the biggest mark up in the history of FCS football. Forty dollar face value tix are being sold for over a thousand. 2500% markup. Everyone knows that. It’s so silly for you to try to deny it. Beyond delusional really.
And your school not only facilitated it, but also encouraged it. We’re talking about it, not because it’s the bubcatz, but because no other school has ever stooped so low. Most of your own fans agree. Doesn’t that feel weird to you?
I feel sorry for the average Joe Schmoe bubcat. He might have gotten lucky and scored a few tix to the game for him and his family. He would not have logged in just to scalp for profit. But he never even got the chance and now Joe Schmoe is Joe Schmuck. Meanwhile others who would never consider scalping cannot pass up the opportunity, so it’s incentivized it and pushed the market even higher. Simple economics which I am not surprised you cannot understand

60 listed on seat geek. And you yourself said that most people don’t know which extra tickets they got yet. So I’m assuming once that happens this number will climb.
Its way more than 60 tickets. There are currently 45 listings for 2 tickets. If you just want one ticket there is another 32 listed. Plus, I saw 7 SRO tickets already go on sale and sold from this morning. Another 5 SRO already sold, asked $485 for them.

I'm sure that there are 1,000s getting sold for face value off market between friends and family, like Cat fans intended. But there are plenty being sold for big $$$$$. Just like the market would dictate. Saw an article on Yahoo that compared Cat/Griz 2 to CFP games. Cheapest Cat/Griz was more expensive than cheapest ticket to get into Miami/A&M, OR/JMU, Ole Miss/Tulane, OK/AL. Think about that!

Stooped so low? It's basic economics dude. You're Victorian aunt routine is precious though.

My goodness.

A lot of tickets being sold at a marked up price meaning quantity of tickets, not $ amount.

Scalping would have occurred no matter what, so acting like it's happening because of the way tickets were released is nothing more than ignorance. You're making a big deal out of it solely because it's MSU. I say this as somebody posting too much on their rivals board, but you really need to get a life dude, you're getting pretty obsessed. Think you got brother on the mind just a liiiiiiiiittle too much.

Even if it's 1-2% of the tickets, it's an insignificant amount in the grand scheme.

Btw, I added it up for you. 81 tickets for sale on seatgeek as of this post. I was off by 20 tickets, the absolute horror. That's 0.39% Hooked, that good enough math for you? To nobody's surprise, nobody is biting on the high dollar tickets, and they're not going to.

Then why is MSdui the first school to ever pull this crap and literally cancel the public offering? It’s nutz. Lower than low. I hope you are proud of your POS school and town full of transplants who condone this trash.
Victorian aunt? Now that you’ve been outed on your infamous “pearl clutching”, is this your new phrase?

They cancelled the sale because all of the tickets were sold out...

Meanwhile other places have to offer tickets at $15 to try to get a crowd.

:whistle::coffee:;)

My bad, I hit the wrong button for quantity. Regardless, 60 tickets is a pretty small amount.

Last night, I said that people didn't know which extra tickets they got. Email went out shortly after midnight, so this morning everybody knew.
I'm curious if this number will increase tomorrow, since anyone buying them from the additional sale (like those in the QB club here) doesn't get their tickets until tomorrow, so even if they wanted to, they couldn't list them until then.

Both are extreme. Yes, it is a lot considering there were literally none made available to the public. Zero. If your theory were true, there should be not be any or very few. But there are hundreds. Which means one thousand percent more than your goofy theory.
It’s the opposite of how The Griz would have handled it (e.g. just look at last week’s discount), but The Griz have class and are authentic Montana while everything about MSdui is trashy

The Griz had to offer a discount because nobody was buying the tickets. MSU quite clearly has the opposite problem.

All tickets were released this morning AFAIK. I got my extra requested tickets just a bit after midnight.
