Cat/Griz, Griz/Cats, whatever you want to call it should be a great game this year. It’s Griz/Cat. We can agree the conference should be decided based on the results of that game. Both teams should be in the top 5 if they win out.

Na, they’re good. 4 best teams are in Montana and the dakotas. The Cats look good against bad teams but lose against playoff quality opponents
Yup NDSU, SDSU, UMT and UND are the 4 best teams. South Dakota and MSU are not on the same level this season. The records speak for themselves.Na, they’re good. 4 best teams are in Montana and the dakotas.

All that matters is having more points than the cats at the end of the Griz Cat gameAs much as I wish it were so, it’s notMontana state is very good. Especially defensively. I think both teams have good offenses with a slight ege to Montana there, but today’s slow start was alarming. To convince me that our defense is at their level I’d need to see 3-4 games with today’s kind of outing. No more Idaho state games. Honestly, both teams look very evenly matched right now.
I'm seeing very similar resumes for Bozeman (5-2) and UND (4-2).Yup NDSU, SDSU, UMT and UND are the 4 best teams. South Dakota and MSU are not on the same level this season. The records speak for themselves.
Weird, all your posts would make someone think they matter much more to you than that. Every post you make is about State. All that matters is having more points than the cats at the end of the Griz Cat game
Almost feels like a bobcat football player took his lunch money. Just let it go man…he can't hurt you anymore.Weird, all your posts would make someone think they matter much more to you than that. Every post you make is about State.
I just hope he can come back this year. The Defense will vastly improve when Kyon Loud returns
It’s a rivalry and the Cats knocked the Griz from likely hosting a playoff game to out of the playoffs my senior year when we beat the Cats and made at least the second round of the playoffs 3 years in a row prior.Almost feels like a bobcat football player took his lunch money. The difference is UND lost in the Mecca of the FCS and the Griz would likely not be undefeated if it was at Alerus Center whereas the Cats choked their gold rush game and would have been boat raced in Brookings. UND was also competitive against K-State where as MSU might as well have been Hellgate High School against Oregon.I'm seeing very similar resumes for Bozeman (5-2) and UND (4-2).
(5-2) lost to Oregon, lost to SDSU, wins over San Diego, Mercyhurst, EWU, NAU and ISU
(4-2) lost to K-State and UM, wins over PSU, Valpo, UNI and YSU
Both have losses to FBS teams and FCS top 5
Both have wins over three weak FCS teams
Both have a win over a ranked FCS team.
Oregon is worlds apart from K-State. That is very obvious and comparing margin of loss is ridiculous. We were lucky to pull off the win we had in a lot of ways over UND, I won't go tooting a horn about that one. It is in the win column, but again you can't compare that to a loss to the #2 team at home in OT any more than you can the FBS game. The difference is UND lost in the Mecca of the FCS and the Griz would likely not be undefeated if it was at Alerus Center whereas the Cats choked their gold rush game and would have been boat raced in Brookings. I am of the opinion that the only FCS playoff team the Cats have faced was SDSU which they lost. I would hold off on calling then Cats a top 5 team until they beat a team that will still be playing in December.Oregon is worlds apart from K-State. Your reasoning and the fact that you can't get over missing the playoffs your senior year are childish. Get over it. The team was horrible when I was at UM, but we have all gotten over it. We play one time a year these days, leave your animosities for that week.
Best reason EVER to forfeit one’s objectivity. My first year as an undergrad at MSU was year number sixteen in the streak. You sound like a spoiled brat. It’s a rivalry and the Cats knocked the Griz from likely hosting a playoff game to out of the playoffs my senior year when we beat the Cats and made at least the second round of the playoffs 3 years in a row prior.
I agree with this to a point. I think there are some schematic things that will and did improve the D in the second half yesterday. But yes, losing an all conference player is not ideal! The Defense will vastly improve when Kyon Loud returns
