Henley booted from bubs after assault charges

So if the charges are dropped in the case of Henley is he going to get a big apology from all the egrizzers roasting him? Will he be put back on the team?
Nope, he won't get any apologies over here, and you Cat fans should answer your second question. I assume not.

If your loser player gets convicted or cops a plea, are you and all the loser bubs that posted in this thread going to apologize to the victim and her family?

This whole thread sucks. Crime is bad. And it’s not a school issue. Just because we may not like another team, we don’t need to paint them as bad people in our heads. UM is not and has not been immune to it, and msu is not and has not been immune to it.

But MSU has had a lot more of it, and it involved football coaches, in the past several years.
I guess I’m confused why it matters? Does it make it feel like we have some moral high ground over them? Does it make us feel better to say “they’re bad guys” in our heads? And honestly, UM has had its share of legal issues. Not as of late, but it can rear its ugly head at any time.

It doesn't have to matter to you, but some of us like to look at these things or discuss. I would ask why would you care if people on egriz would like to discuss this type of thing?

Yes, the rivalry is such that it's fun to point out things in the respective programs, including bad things. And honestly, UM has not had many legal issues for a fairly long time. Relatively little for about 13 or more years. And UM has not had the mishandling of coach legal issues like MSU has had. I have some theories on where your confusion comes from, but I will refrain from mentioning those. That being said, feel free to say what you want. It's a free country.

I love the Griz. I take pride in a being part of this fan base. And I love this rivalry. But legal issues that the other program may be experiencing seems low and childish to me. The poor behavior of a 19 year old is not always an accurate reflection of a staff, program, or fan base. As much as some people wish it was.

Don't agree that it's low or childish. If there are alot of legal problems, it does reflect on the program and the standards of recruiting. Same with coaches. And how the problems are handled are also reflective of the program. For example, MSU's poor or awful handing of the 2 football coach dui's reflected very poorly on the MSU program and its administration. And, a message board is on the internet. This is what many people do on the internet.

Agreed. With everything except that the thread sucks. there's nothing wrong with the thread describing what happened.

But you'll note the OP (me) made the very point you are. It doesn't matter WHO did it. Stop hitting women!! Stop doing bad shit. I don't care what color your uniform is.

But it's been bobcat fans who have made an issue out of which team had the abuser. It truly doesn't matter, as the GRIZ will have some bad apples too. But let's not blame GRIZ fans for what this has turned into.

Just, everyone, for the love of God, stop beating on defenseless people.

Is there public evidence that he "beat on" her? This is what he was charged with: "
- Partner Or Family Member Assault Causing Bodily Inju
ry. In theory, assault doesn't have to involve touching. AI: "No, assault does not always have to involve physical contact or physical injury. Assault can be committed through threats or attempts to cause harm, even if the victim is not physically touched or harmed." Throwing a pan or phone at someone can be assault. I'm not saying this guy didn't hit her, but am asking if there's something specific out there. I assume he was booted for throwing a pan or phone.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with bringing it up, but much beyond that it’s silly to use it to put down a rival. For anyone on Twitter there’s a few cat troll accounts who have the Krakauer book cover as their profile picture/banner. That’s wrong and childish for them to cling to that as long as long as they have imo. I just hate to see Griz fans slip into doing the same thing. And yes, abuse of all varieties is bad.

Well whatever he did, or however he did it, it resulted in bodily harm which made it assault. So maybe Everett could have just said stop assaulting defenseless people, which is pretty much the same thing in my book.

So in my mind, throwing objects would be worse. At that point they’re using impromptu weapons instead of bare hands.
Wouldn’t bare hands on a muscled up 19 year old be enough to qualify as weapons in a domestic situation? Hard to know what happened as it will never be reported on thoroughly.

No, there doesn’t have to be physical harm done. See the blurb.

the affidavit will be public record so all someone has to do is go and request a copy and pay the fee. but yes nobody knows what happened...could have been nothing or could have been something...without knowing the facts nobody can say...and again if only two people present bigger person usually ends up in the bucket....someone has to live in bozo who can request a copy of the arrest affidavit...
